Here for the aesthetic! @snowbirdfrisco Just had my first visit to Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen, and I’m already planning to go back. This stunning restaurant, nestled in The Star in Frisco, offers a delightful fusion of Latin cuisine. I indulged in their brunch menu, and it was absolutely exquisite. Snowbird embodies an upscale atmosphere, making it the ideal destination for experiencing a vibrant ambiance and having a great time while savoring the perfect blend of fine dining and artisanal drinks. With Snowbird around, suburban residents no longer have to travel far to enjoy the lively energy of a downtown night. Definitely a #DFWHotspot to check out. Thanks for having us @snowbirdfrisco. I met friends here for brunch and it was a not so pleasant experience. The venue is beautiful, the food was visually appeasing BUT the food was not good. The orders all came out separately and on top of that the food was cold. Eggs - cold, pancakes - the temp of room temperature bread, etc. We mentioned it to our waitress and she indicated she'd send over the manager. We visibly saw her discussing it (a woman with curly dirty blond hair) but she still did not address our table after 10 minutes passed. Due to this and being ignored, I had a friend go to the bar area to ask for assistance as we were being ignored. At that time is the only time the manager decided to barely say anything. We were going to pay for the food even though we didn't eat it but the chef told us not to worry about it. This place has potential but the staff definitely needs some training in service. When orders are complete maybe they can have runners helping the server deliver food. I feel like maybe items were just sitting out and got cold. But to have a waitress and MANAGER not address the situation or try to make it right is absurd! Ended up going next door to Tupelo Honey since we were starving still and had a better experience (AND HOT FOOD) there. *Update: Receiving a reply to my review a year and a half later is absurd. I only hope this just means you all are under new management who is trying to make things better. I have no desire to speak about this close to 2 years later. I know its been that long since I moved from Dallas after going here.

Very disappointing restaurant, and here's why: We ordered several appetizers first. Hummus, burger sliders, wagyu tacos, empenadas, and chicken satay. The hummus and sliders were decent, but the rest were mediocre at best. Here is where it got interesting, 2 of the entrées arrived while the table was still full of plates that haven't been removed. The server noticed that the table was too crowded after he put the 2 entrées and spilled an entire bottle of soda on me. Then, 2 people at the table waited for an additional 10 minutes until their entrée arrived. The wagyu ribye and wagyu "filet" were a complete joke to the culinary world. They tasted like cheap frozen meat with horrible texture and aftertaste. The bone marrow dish was overcooked, and the rice was salty. I mentioned this to the server, and when the bill arrived, he said that they took 50% off the ribye because I didn't enjoy it as if he was doing me a favor. I asked to speak with the manager and I expressed the bad experience we all had at the table. In the end, he agreed but only removed one steak from the bill and said that if we ever come back, he will give us 50% off the entire table. Basically, it is a discount with contingency. I'll pass on that offer and will never go back there. And because the service was so bad, it was my first time not leaving a tip. I hope this establishment takes this feedback as constructive critiszm and improve the service and quality of food.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Snowbird Cocktail Lounge and Chicken in Frisco, TX, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The first thing that caught my attention was the impressive selection of cocktails. The mixologists at Snowbird are true artists, crafting unique and delicious concoctions that are a delight to the senses. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Old Fashioned or want to try something more adventurous like their signature Snowbird Sour, you won't be disappointed. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly sets this place apart.

Now, let's talk about the food. The chicken dishes at Snowbird are simply outstanding. From their famous Frisco Fried Chicken to the mouthwatering Chicken and Waffles, every bite is a flavor explosion. The chicken is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the accompanying sauces and sides complement the dish beautifully. The menu also offers a variety of other options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, ensuring there's something for everyone.

What truly sets Snowbird apart, however, is the ambiance. The lounge has a trendy yet comfortable vibe, with stylish decor and cozy seating areas. The live music adds to the overall experience, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind after a long day or a spot to celebrate a special occasion, Snowbird is the perfect destination.

Lastly, I must mention the exceptional service. The staff at Snowbird are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. From recommending the perfect cocktail to providing excellent food suggestions, their expertise and genuine care for their customers shine through.

In conclusion, Snowbird Cocktail Lounge and Chicken in Frisco, TX, is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. With its incredible cocktails, delectable chicken dishes, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service, it's a must-visit for anyone in the area. I can't wait to return and explore more...

My sister and I made a reservation for 7:15 and arrived early around 6:40. We were told we could be seated shortly and were sat at 7:10 — no issue at all, just sharing for context. What set the tone, however, was being seated in lounge chairs with a small cocktail table, even though we had clearly stated we were coming for dinner. It was very uncomfortable and not suitable for a full meal.

After expressing this, we were briefly moved to a proper dining table — only to be told by another server that we needed to move back. The lack of communication between staff was evident from the start.

We ordered cocktails and appetizers — the tuna tartare and ceviche were absolutely delicious. A definite highlight and a must-order!

Unfortunately, the experience declined from there. Our entrées arrived around 8pm, but we couldn’t get anyone’s attention for utensils until 30 minutes later — by then, our food was cold. The steak was overcooked (ordered medium rare, arrived medium), though the rice had great flavor despite being cold as well. Again, the issue wasn’t the food quality, but the service.

The waitstaff seemed disorganized and uncoordinated, with little sense of urgency. It took another 30 minutes just to get the check. From arrival to departure, we were there for nearly 2.5 hours — not by choice, but due to delays in basic service.

We really wanted to love this place. The vibe is fantastic, the music and ambiance are perfect for a date night or girls’ night out, and the food has great potential. But the service completely overshadowed what could’ve been a five-star experience.

I truly hope this was just an off night. We’d be open to trying it again in the future — but only if...

Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen is an upscale cocktail lounge located in the star district in Frisco, Texas. It's the perfect spot for a date night, brunching with the girls or dinner.

The decor is very chic and modern with accents of teal and purple throughout.

We arrived around 11:15 for brunch and had an amazing experience from the moment we entered.

I ordered the, "You're the Steak to My Eggs." The steak was a 6 oz, 24-day aged NY strip that was cooked perfectly, per my specifications. I substituted the sunny side up eggs with scrambled eggs. It also came with a healthy portion of seasoned tri-color potatoes and toast with a garlic and chive spread that was absolutely amazing.

I ordered a mimosa to start with and then I switched to the "snowbird" signature cocktail that consisted of Cazadorez Blanco tequila, Combier L'orange liqueur, coconut cream, lime juice, tajin rim, pea tea bitter spray. I normally keep it simple and stick with a mimosa or a kettle one on the rocks because I'm not a fan of mixed drinks because they always come out too sweet or too bitter, but this signature cocktail did not disappoint. It was so good, that I had to order a second round.

The other individuals in my party had the Espresso No Depresso and the Moscow Mule for their drinks and they were not disappointed. The bartenders at Snowbird definitely know how to prepare an equally proportioned cocktail.

I would rate my overall experience at Snowbird a 5 out of 5, based on the ambiance, service, seasoned food, portion sizes and the perfectly crafted cocktails. Go check it out...
