I took my daughter here with friends for her 25th birthday. I read the reviews and was interested in seeing how true the "not so great reviews" were. The reviews I read were 1. The music was too loud, 2. The food was ok and over priced and 3. The service was just ok. Now here's my experience on Feb 25, 2024 at brunch (2pm reservation). The music was not TOO loud for me but definitely bordered on being too loud. If the DJ turned it up one more notch then it would have been too loud. I did have to shout to talk and i did have to say "huh" a few times but I honestly was fine with the volume. Should they consider turning it down a notch or 3? Absolutely! I think the "party" atmosphere will not b affected if the volume was lower. Next, the food WAS just ok so those reviews were spot on. It was pricy for the quality and amount. I dont mind paying for quality over amount but when both are crappy then its a problem. One of my guest got 6 shrimp (not bacon wrapped, not jumbo, not anything special) and it was $29...no sides just shrimp. I got the short rib hash because one reviewer said it was delicious and they were right. It was! But see the picture of the amount of food in the skillet. It looked like they split ONE egg with everyone who ordered it at my table. No exaggeration and the same with the potatoes that came in the skillet. The meat looked like shredded meat but not "short ribs". Maybe the chef took them off the bone and took the liberty of shredding them him/herself. It was tasty though but definitely not short ribs. It looked like meat that was scooped from a bucket. And it cost $30. The picture below is before i started eating and is definitely not $30 worth of food or even $30 worth of QUALITY food. Do Not get the mexican omelet. You will be disappointed! The taste was not good and we like chorizo. Its hard to mess up an omelet but the chef figured out how. The acrobat was not performing. I arrived at 2pm and was told she was done at 3pm but she took a break and never came back. It's important to note, that she will be nearly directly above u...towards the end of your table so hopefully the bottom of her feet isn't dirty đ. I'm half joking but it is important to note how close u sit to the acrobat. This is a cool spot for drinks. Our server was great but eat at ur own risk! The atmosphere is banging and it's beautifully decorated. We had a great time just vibing together and taking pictures. Now if they can match 1. Quality of food to the atmosphere 2. Perfect volume/balance for music 3. And keeping things classy by not having one of the hostesses butt showing with no panties on in a skirt then it will improve people's experiences because ALL of the guest were keeping it cute and classy and were...

Valet right in front of restaurant and I wasnât charged anything; but please do bring cash to tip!
Letâs talk ambiance: nothing but great photo ops everywhere. Your eyes will done in an eclectic array of colors, everything from the floor to ceilings will be worth looking at. Even the walls throughout are adorned w wine bottles. Not to mention the outdoor balcony full of places to sit and relax.
Food: â Hamachi â12 oz wagu tenderloin steak đ„© â Lobster Roll â Roasted Brussels Sprouts â Truffle fries â Beet Salad â Red Velvet Cake (huge slice and it came w a candle sparklier )
Our waitress seemed rather ânewâ as she struggled with communication and lacked in many ways in service. But it is hard to staff for many businesses⊠but it definitely killed the mood for us there to celebrate a bday.
The Ugly: âOver an hour to get food, slow service that took almost 3 hours from start to finish for 4 ladies âWaitress seemed overwhelmed even though it was relatively slow at 6 pm on a Thursday (it got super busy about 7 pm) đ Her lack of communication killed a lot of our vibes but we kept telling ourselves not everything can be perfect lol When we finally got our dessert; she lit the candle and just left. We were utterly confused bc usually they will help with celebrating and singing but she lit the candle and just left. We werenât sure if she was coming back or not. But decided to not wait. We didnât even get dessert plates and had to track her to ask her to provide some (we were all given new forks though) When we asked for recommendations, she didnât seem to be knowledgeable at all in the food; she struggled a lot and for a restaurant of this caliber, I do expect a more seasoned staff. â Way too many staff members just standing and chatting and not servicing.
The Awesome: â Complimentary Valet (bring cash to tip!) â Great fantastic photo ops screaming IG READY! â Bartender made delicious drinks (my group is known for having high standards w their alcohol and will send it back if done wrong; everyone was very happy with it) â Food was mostly AMAZING. Stand outs were the hamachi, lobster roll and red velvet cake that was not too sweet; super moist and probably one of the best red velvets Iâve ever had.
The wagu was incredibly dry. We asked for medium and we probably shouldâve sent it back but waiting over an hour for food made us too famished to fight it and wait even longer; so we reluctantly ate the dry wagu. I do not recommend this at all.
Overall; Definitely worth a visit! I would highly suggest dressing up...
Read moreTo whom it may concern,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to take a moment to share my experience from my recent visit to THE GLEN in Frisco on August 23, 2024.
I generally do not write reviews, but my friends and I felt compelled to address the treatment we received during our visit, particularly in relation to our birthday celebration reservation.
I had made an online reservation for my friend's birthday and specifically requested a particular area for our celebration. Additionally, I spoke with a courteous staff member, âChanelleâ who confirmed that we would be seated in the room with the large tree per my note on line.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Wyatt, who was very welcoming. I have a background in Corp.customer service training, and I appreciated his warm demeanor. However, I was surprised when a manager named John, who appeared less than welcoming and did not acknowledge us, directed Wyatt to seat us away from our requested location. I expressed my concern to Wyatt and, upon addressing the situation with John, I regrettably noted that he did not apologize for the oversight and instead instructed Wyatt to take us to the area I had originally requested.
Despite the somewhat rocky start, our dining experience improved thanks to the attentive service provided by our waitress, and the meal itself was excellent.
After dinner, we wanted to take some photos, but when we approached the front to ask John for assistance, he declined to help in a manner that came across as dismissive. While I understand that not every request may be accommodated, a more courteous tone and body language would greatly enhance the overall customer experience.
As a repeat customer who has visited THE GLEN several times, I was disappointed by the uncharacteristic behavior exhibited by John. It is important to remember that every patron contributes to the success of the establishment, and positive interactions can foster repeat visits.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I believe that with some adjustments in service approach, THE GLEN can enhance its reputation as a welcoming and customer-oriented...
