Came on a Thursday evening after the big end of pre season Cowboys event at the star and actually enjoyed my visit. Cocktails and small bites were lovely and bartender was great. Tried to come the next week on a Friday and it seems reservations were booked several weeks in advance for Friday. Tbh I’d be surprised to know they release more than a couple just to keep the elitist vibe. We showed up just a few minutes after opening just wanting to have a few drinks. Was immediately stopped at the door by what I would say was a hostess who looked like she would be the door girl of Gentlemans club. Her complete look of disgust at the idea that we would even expect a seat at the bar. She proceeded to tell us the bar and restaurant was full and without a reservation we wouldn’t be getting in tonight bc it was “VERY” busy! We were like can we wait for a seat to open up at the bar(it was only 2 of us) and she was like yes but it has to be outside. Granted if you’ve been here there’s literally a hostess room and then A door with no windows. You can’t see if anything were to even open up and the hostess was surely not going help us procure a seat. Her personality was just disgusting and that vibe of, you arent good enough to come inside. Which seemed to be what she was trained to put out. She suggested we go next door to their partner restaurant, walk over and basically got the same treatment. So apparently it’s just how they do business, with a sense of entitlement and we don’t need your money bc we are In The heart of wealth and there’s plenty of pockets to overspend on alcohol in this area. I started this last tradition year…. and I will continue to do these yearly.
We had several people that could not be there because of the weather and they were out sick with the flu as it’s been going around, but to everyone that was able to show up thank you so much.

Read moreUnprofessional management Josh was aware of an issue that I had experienced here from being overcharged and someone else tab was on mine. I called and spoke with this manager twice now, he agreed to refund me the additional amount back to my card and send me an updated receipt the first time which I have a recording of this.Second time I have called he denied that he will not be sending me an updated receipt/nor refund back for the items I was not responsible for. I will now be sure to correct this with my bank and proceed with legal action if needed. I tipped the bartender (Liana Z) when her service was not the best and was ignored while sitting at the bar. The first thing a bartender/server should ask is if we are on one tab or separate checks. She automatically picked up my card without informing me on the charge and also service was super slow. She stayed on her phone the whole time and decided to chat with her coworkers. I let Josh know that I was responsible for my own tab. Which I was already charged for.
