Decided after work to stop by McD's and get a couple of the McRibs as my wife sent me a message saying that were back. Pulled up to the Drive Thru. ordered right away, paid the girl in the pay window was pleasant . That all changed once i got to the pick up window. After 2 different ppl came up to me and asked what my order was, and then looked confused when i told them, after close to over 5 mins or so, they asked me to park in spot 3, there was a car already in spot 2 and the 3rd drive thru window was occupied as well. That should of been a warning . After like 15 mins i decided to call, i called the 1-800 on the receipt thats customer care(more about them later) I then googled the Mc'D i was at, called and a lady answered right away. I told her i was parked in spot 3 and had been waiting for over 20 mins now for my order, she then proceeded to tell me they don't bring food out? As seen in photo there curbside pickup is clearly a thing, according to the lady on the phone doesn't exist. She then proceeds to talk to associates in the background about my order, after about 4 mins of me listening to them get an earful from her(mind you i had no interaction with her other than phone so not sure if she is a manager or not) I hung up as i assumed she thought she had hung up the phone, I decided to sit outside my car and about 5 mins later i hear Hey!!! The girl is yelling for me to go over to her in the 3rd drive up window(mind you on foot in front of vehicles) she then tries to hand me a bag with one mcRib in it...nahhh .. I asked whats this she says your McRib! With a real puzzled look on her face, i said no I haven't gotten any of my order in the past 40 or so mins all i got was my sweet tea. She then closes the window i walk back to the car, after a few mins she opens the window again hey!!! I again walk in front of vehicles to the 3rd drive up window, she then hands me a bag with my correct order in it, not once was there a "I am sorry for the mix up, or sorry for taking so long, any apology would of been better than nothing. All i got was a have a god night, and then she shut the window, funny thing i told her she was the one who parked me in spot 3 , she tried to play it off, I know i shouldn't expect real customer service from McD's but no one apology or not even the manager coming up to smooth out the situation. And of course legts not forget the customer service line, i called them 2 or 3 times and when someone did answer ( i think i got the same guy every time..lol)They would proceed to put me on hold, i was like nahhhh i will just do my duty as a google guide and share this with those of you who look for these reviews to be aware of restaurants...
Read moreStaff made my 7 year old son cry by treating him so rudely and hatefully when he just wanted Ketchup and to go to HIS favorite restaurant McDonald's. I have not done a review for a while but our experience today was so awful it must be done now. My adorable son had an unexpected day off school and begged to go to McDonald's (we haven't gone for a long time) so we went for him. The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful and treated the Caucasian customers very differently than the African American customers. In all honesty they were rude to almost everyone but slightly less hostile toward the African American customers and outwardly hostile toward the white customers. This is unacceptable! Every day I go to work as a person with a doctorate (who just happens to be Caucasian) and treat EVERY person with respect and dignity. I was so upset when my son went up to the counter to ask for ketchup and was ignored for a long time, had multiple rude employees look right at him and roll their eyes and walk right past him and he came back to me crying and said he was scared and they were mean. My son is not a shy kid at all and this is so wrong! First of all, they were rude when they called our number and the order was WRONG and missing our 10 piece chicken nuggets but my husband was gracious and patient. Then they didn't give us our 3 cups for our drinks and the employee said "now what's your problem?" Very rudely and we said could we please have our cups and they were almost thrown at us. Then we asked for ketchup and were given 2 packs for 3 people. The owner of this McDonald's either needs a new manager or just start all over with employees. I stood back and watched and the employees were being outwardly rude to everyone and hostile even more to the white customers. Again, this should NEVER include a little 7 year old boy who just loves McDonald's and wanted some more ketchup. I finally went up to the counter with him and after 3 employees walked past me and him standing there I yelled "could I please have some ketchup?!?;??" And a male employee with long fake fingernails rolled his eyes, grabbed a few ketchups and slammed them in my hand in front of my son.
To the owner of this McDonald's: You should be ashamed. If this happened to us I'm sure much worse has happened to people who do not speak out. Racism is unacceptable. It goes both ways. My son, husband and I did not deserve the way we were treated today and we never treat anyone with that kind of disrespect. I am praying for you and your...
Read moreI usually don’t write negative reviews especially since I’ve worked in fast food and I know how stressful it is and how mistakes can be made easily. That said, please hire a better staff here. I picked up two DD orders here today. First time was fine, waited for a few minutes and the girl at the register didn’t say anything just stared at me. Told her I needed to pick up an order and she just handed it to me didn’t say anything. Whatever, I get it, rough day maybe. No real issues. I came back to get the second order and the same girl was standing up front. I heard her say “I don’t wanna take her order, I’m off the clock.” I get that. Yet all of the other staff saw me standing there since she said that and no one would come up to the register or talk to me. After waiting for a while I decided I’d probably get better service in the drive thru since that’s what they were focusing on. I don’t mind. I go back to my car and go in to the drive thru. Say I have a DD order and state the number. Manager says I have to come inside to get it. That’s fine, I get it’s the policy. I explained that I had tried to get the order inside but no one would come to help me, but that I’ll come back inside no problem. She said nothing and I drove back around to come back in. Still no one would come help me including the guy who helped other people in front of me. I finally had to go up to the pick-up counter where he could hear me and he seemed like he didn’t want to talk to me but I had to get this order. I tell him I have to get the order and he gives me the bags that had been sitting there since the time I first got there. They made the food fast, they just wouldn’t talk to the customer. If you are a DD driver I recommend declining orders at...
