Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Gallatin

I actually order from this location very often. I like the food, take it on the lake, and get it for others. I was trying to order meals for a school team in the form of box lunches and the girls at the front counter acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. All they could offer as an answer to what I was trying to order was to look at their catering menu and pick off of it. I really just wanted a sandwich and a brownie for 18 people. When I told them that, their response was to just get the brownies off the catering menu and they couldn't do themwith a sandwich because they didn't know how to ring that up. I had studied the catering menu and had a budget I was working with. I decided to get individual sandwiches and brownies because these athletes do not normally eat a ton before they go out on the field. Anyway, these two girls made it harder on me to order than it needed to be because they acted so confused. I left and went across the street and got exactly what I needed in box lunch style at another restaurant. I have always enjoyed Jimmy Johns, and I should preface this by saying I don't normally write reviews, but after tonight felt I finally I should. I work with the National Guard, and at the end of a particularly long drill weekend I decided to grab a sandwich on the way home. Of course having come straight from drill I was still in uniform, but unexpectedly after I ordered the cashier who had just taken the order actually bought my sandwich for me to say thank you for my service. Now as a service member this isn't entirely unexpected when it happens but it is always both deeply humbling and appreciated to have others be willing to do this for us, and I believe to have employees such as those being willing to do something like this speaks well of this establishment, their services, and the employees they have on staff there. This is our favorite JJ and we have been to many especially since it’s my husbands favorite sandwich place. The customer service is always on point. Everyone is super friendly and fun to talk to and be around they do a great job making your sandwich, getting everything correct and making sure you’re taken care of, the place is very clean. There’s really nothing to be disappointed about. What blows my mind is the entitled people that have been here many times and have great experiences but then have ONE bad experience and write a one star review 🤯 explain that one to me?
