I was wowed by the amount of the selected choices that I had to choose from when it came to the candy apples and different levels of chocolate flavor with immaculate decor. I entered in the place and upstairs I went. As I was ordering I asked one of the workers, which was a female, if she can explain to me what was in a particular chocolate bar. She said it is a popular, darker chocolate. I said ok! I what else is in it. She said : marshmallows. I ask was there nuts, she said: “No.” I said let’s choose that one. I didn’t have my eyewear. That’s is why I asked for her self explanation. She never mentioned that there were walnuts in there. I proceeded to bite into the Rocky Mountain or Rocky Road dark chocolate, and as I was chewing, I began to feel the tissues of my mouth for Bumps immediately. I looked inside, there were walnuts. Well, I can’t have walnuts. I proceeded to the counter and spoke to a tall white gentleman. Not sure if he was the manager. After I Explained to him the happenings, he began to explain to me his policy and procedures. “Cross contamination could happen. I said: OK, but I’m just letting you know because I didn’t have my eyewear. I asked one of the workers to tell me what it was in there and she never explained that they were these kind of nuts inside. He said well I’m just letting you know. If anybody that has an issue you shouldn’t be hit with a policy and procedure. It was a bit too late. You should automatically show some sympathy and say I’m so sorry, this happened to you what can I do and if I can do something what would you...

I went to get the dubai chocolate candy bar. I called they said they had it but when i got therei just stood at the counter and after about 2 minutes someone asked if i needed help i ask for the chocolate bar and they said they were out. Im 8 months prego and had been craving this but totally understand they ran out so i try again the next day. I call and they said they are making somemore and itll be ready at 3:30 so i go up there at 3:45 and again no one ask me if i needed help for about a minute or so and they weren't friendly or welcoming when they ask me. I get this is a busy place but their personalities were very bland. Anyways they dont even have the chocolate packaged nicely or anything. The girl goes to this big trey behind her a cuts the most tinest piece. It was smaller than the palm of my hand and charges me $6.99 then she rolls it in paper and hands it to me. I take a bite and its disgusting!!!! It tasted like straight oil!! It was so disappointing and the flavor was way off. They are known for their delicious chocolate. I always come here to get their strawberries or caramel apples and they are really good but their customer service suck and that dubai chocolate bar tasted like who ever made it rushed it and put zero effort into it I couldn't believe how greasy it was. I felt like the girl behind the counter gave ne such a small piece because she was bothered by having to hel me like...

I absolutely love this place! Everytime we are in Galveston I always make a stop there which is two or three times a month. I love to go in there and get a caramel apple each one for myself and for my husband cuz we both like different things. The toffee the truffles the dog treats all of the candy is always fresh when we've ever been there. .....I love how the place is got that old antique nostalgic feeling to it when you go inside. And I absolutely love the bear sitting outside. I have pictures of my kids when they were little and a couple of their kids now with it believe it or not. If you have not been you really need to stop in when you are in Galveston. I have my husband drop me off he makes the block a couple of times and then he picked me...

We stopped by for some ice cream and we were not disappointed. They serve Blue Bell ice cream here and have 10-12 different flavors. We tried the Krazy Kookie Dough and the Salted Caramel Brownie flavors in plain and chocolate dipped waffle cones. The ice cream is delicious, as Blue Bell ice cream always is. The dipped cone was dipped in a thick, delicious layer of Rocky Mountain Chocolate and paired nicely with the ice cream. We have a store local to us that sells RMCF chocolates so we did not try any the day we visited, but I’m sure they’re as delicious here (probably more!) as they are in my hometown. The shop itself is cute and clean. Definitely recommend stopping by!
