Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Garner

my name is gary calder and i yesterday, went to this location AFTER working myself for the day in the heat and humidity and hoped to get a good steak sub that we both know jersey mikes CAN deliver and left pretty disappointed. i KNOW it's a new location but to be honest the problems i encountered COULD have been handled better and bless the managers heart i KNOW she was doing whatever she could to put out the obvious 'newbie' fires she was dealing with BUT... i've worked independent sub shops in my life and at 68 i expect better from a store for $30 than the service i received. my order was for two giant steak subs (we both were hungry having worked hard for our money today) and when the order was handed to me as two regular subs i said um...no.......so instead of starting over from scratch they left the two regular ones sitting there to get cold while they made two more halves......not what I would have done when I was a manager at my sub shop......we should have been given two NEW HOT subs and they could have done whatever with what they botched. i'm NOT normally a stickler for such wastage BUT they had ONE job and they FAILED in my opinion. we work hard to provide a product that if it's not right i'm going to make EVERY effort to make DANG sure the customer is FULLY satisfied, or I"M OUT of business. i CAN'T afford to have ONE dissatisfied customer. i left with four scrunched up sandwiches (a hot sub should NEVER be rolled as tightly as a cold one.......) and got home and ate them but still......thank you but next time i have two subways and two firehouse sub shops i go by on my way home from work that i can visit that HAVEN'T disappointed me. we like jersey mikes but i won't spend my hard earned money where i'm not fully appreciated....all i got was a sorry for your wait......thanks....didn't even try to see if i wanted something for my...

Place was absolutely disgusting the glass where they make your sandwich was splattered with stuff. Seems like it hasn’t been cleaned since grand opening. The case where they store the whole meats and cheeses was also very dirty there was a random slice of cheese thrown in there just on top of the whole packaged meats and a piece of ham.The prep station looked like it needed to be wiped down really bad there was tons of food spilled out. One of the girls came from back to replace the lettuce and she could have wiped around it before dropping in the new one. Just seems like everyone is doing the bare minimum here and no management to look after them. Trash was spilling out behind the counter i think the cashier could’ve have made her self useful for that instead of just standing there waiting for sandwiches to be made. Honestly contemplated just stopping them while making my sandwich and walking out a few times I was pretty grossed out I couldn’t get pictures because there was a lady right behind me. Sandwich was decent nothing wrong with it but definitely didn’t enjoy it as much because I kept thinking about how nasty all the employees must be at their job with it looking like that. I do love jersey mikes but I’ll stick with 40/42 or Smithfield I’ve had great...

Came in today for the first time… male with the DREADS (the one that thinks he is a female) was really rude and unprofessional First off when I came in I heard him screaming about how he was ready to go… and how he was thinking about calling out of zaxbys too because they were “getting on his nerves” first thing I thought was this place was unprofessional.. should’ve left then. Still ordered. He made my sandwich and slapped everything on my bread in a wild manner. I asked the guy next to him to add more turkey (which I didn’t mind paying for) and the he-she got extremely mad for what idk. He started to say that customers who usually come in there should know how much turkey is on the bread etc and I’ll have to pay for it (which .. again, was not a problem ) whole time I’m starring at him shocked cause he’s so angry. He needs to be FIRED because clearly he doesn’t want to be there. The employee next to him was even shaking his head cause obviously he’s used to this behavior. Not to mention, I also seen him drinking from the lemonade then going back to make sandwiches without washing his hand. I NEED A...
