When we entered to the right of us was a large picture of a dock water and a sunset instantly made me think of the coastal areas the floors were rustic wooden floors as we got to the hostess stand there was a large Tiki hut bar so again odd for a breakfast lunch restaurant in the smokies we were seated at a small wooden table near a huge mountain stone fireplace with a very large round PURPLE log as a mantle and a deer head above there were pictures of a rooster on the other wall one it is surfing. The atmosphere was confusing we ordered our drinks and looked the menu over it was very limited in its selections I do not like hot or spicy food and they had included these ingredients into several items that traditionally did not have our waitress was very nice and understanding but we decided not to eat there. In their effort to tweak the food which I had no interest in eating in a fusion restaurant and the odd beach rustic decor it was not for us the big purple log over the fireplace just plain ugly. As I have spoke to family and friends they all agreed not a restaurant they...
Read moreFirst off, the outside and inside is completely adorable especially for chicken lovers like me! Took tons of pictures. They have a great selection of morning adult beverages. I tried the Bourbon Iced coffee and it was delicious. I took one star off the food because it was just lukewarm when it arrived. We discovered it's a new place so understand some growing pains, if they can figure out making sure things are still hot when they arrive, this will become a favorite for folks visiting Gatlinburg. The dished we ordered were excellent as far as taste. My husband got the fried chicken with gravy and it was the best we've ever had. I ordered the Ham and egg on a cathead biscuit, the ham was out of this world! Homefries also had an excellent taste, just wish they were hot! Service was great and we didn't bother complaining because the food was delicious. Overall a great stop and one of our faves, just hope they can figure out temps! Oh and merch would be a great addition. I would have bought a bunch of their chicken themed shirts, decor if...
Read moreFried green tomatoes taste like they were from frozen. They were just OK.
Chili was OK, fried deviled eggs were OK, I wouldn’t do this at home and erupt my stomach up.
Smash Burger, Chicken and waffles, chicken biscuit (without gravy or gravy on side) (I’d prefer a brown gravy), pancakes, bacon, eggs were all good.
Hashbrowns were cut to perfection and look great but too salty. Easy fix.
The bread pudding was one of a kind and delicious, but then the edges were burned. If it was seared light brown, it would be amazing and I should’ve got extra cranberry sauce on the side. They have decent menu selections for breakfast. A lot of sweet options, egg options, pork, chicken-I was looking for fried seafood, beef/steak.
The service was fine, the wait time was fine, the place has ample seating. I avoid the seating by the door as you will feel the draft from the front door in the cooler months. The other place next-door had a long wait time and this place was very...
