Horrible restaurant!! We live in Douglasville, and my go-to restaurant in most places is Reb Lobster. However, since we moved to Douglasville almost 4 years ago, this Red Lobster has proven over and over that they are the worst store in the chain. My wife's birthday was a couple of days ago, and she was craving some fried chicken from RL. We ordered a fried chicken platter online and then called to talk with the manager--Ray--to be sure they did not overcook the chicken like they often do. He was very nice and promised it would be done right and on time. They had over 45 minutes to get it done, so that should not have been a problem. We arrived exactly at 4:55 (we called and told them we were going to be 10 minutes late, which we were). We pulled up and called to let them know we were at curbside and to bring our food out. The man who answered the phone said he would check to be sure the food was ready and then bring it out. He said, "Hold on, and I will be right back." He was gone for seven minutes, so my wife got out of the car and went in to see what the problem was. BTW, we are all disabled, and it was very painful for my wife to walk. The only time we leave the house is to go to the doctor or to get medicine. My wife waited inside until, finally, someone asked her if she needed help. My wife explained we were there to pick up the food. She got the girl in charge of curbside service. That girl told my wife "You are not here!" She was very rude and curt. My wife explained that yes she was there and she was still on hold waiting for the guy to come back to the phone. Again, she was told that you did not call us so you are not here. Really, a customer was standing in front of you and you wanted to confront her by telling her she was not there. Finally, the employee said your food is right here but I can't give it to you because you are not here. Finally, my wife asked to talk to Ray. Ray came and apologized and gave my wife a $25 gift card. I just want to thank Ray for his "act of kindness" and I am glad the card can be used at any RL because we will never be back to the one on Bill Arp. We will use the card in McDonough. I know that is an hour away, but it has good food and great customer service. Also, this transaction took a little over thirty minutes. Last time we picked up food from here it took over an hour to get it (after ordering online). If you get good food here, it will be a miracle. I know sometimes people slip up and do right. We have bent over backwards for this place and they consistently...
Read moreMy experience tonight at this establishment was despicable. No one believed in customer service tonight. I ordered a salad that was $14. when I received my salad, it looked like a two year old fixed it. It looked as though they put a whole bag of lettuce on my plate. It looked like it was dumped on the plate with a ounce of chicken on top and a few croutons. I requested to speak to the manager. she agreed that she did not understand why they fixed it that way and that it was unacceptable. As I’m waiting on them to bring me another ounce of chicken, I was brought a plate and I started to move the salad to the other plate. I then seen that there was cross-contamination. It looked like they took salad off another plate that already had dressing on it, and threw it in mine and dumped it all on top of each other. I asked the manager ( Monique ) to come out again. she said she was going to take off the plate as she should have because I wasn’t going to pay for that or eat it. I asked her can I get half off of my bill for the inconvenience of me not being able to eat with my family after I sat there for a hour waiting for my food. she told me no and told me that I wasn’t going to tell her how to run her kitchen. I was also told that the server (not the cook) fixed my salad. my question is why is the servers fixing the food especially when they are touching other tables, money, cards, and other items. I overall had a horrible experience I need to speak with someone can someone help me all I want is a refund of $46 and I will be happy tonight. I feel like I was robbed of my time with my family I trusted this company to fix my food and they failed me. Also, 2 things that my wife ordered was not available upon request. The manager Monique came across rude and unprofessional. She even agreed that the salad was not acceptable. Again that wait was long and the customer service was...
Read moreMy mother brought me and my daughter to Red Lobster for a mother, daughter, and granddaughter outing. This was the first time taking my baby out to a restaurant, she's 8 months old as of the time we were at the restaurant. Are waiter was very nice and patient, I had trouble figuring out what to eat. We got a Crispy Dragon Shrimp appetizer; it was very good. It fried shrimp in a spicy/sweet sauce over coleslaw. The coleslaw complemented the sauce perfectly to give the shrimp an amazing flavor, I highly recommend this appetizer if you like spicy. I ordered some Mac and Cheese with a side of Broccoli and a Fruit Punch for my baby. We put some of the drink in a bottle and let her pick up small pieces of Broccoli. To our surprise she loved the Broccoli but had trouble with the Mac and Cheese but it is made for older kids so that kind of made since. She also liked the Fruit Punch, she only got a little as I was concerned with the amount of sugar. She had lots of fun feeding herself and sitting at the table. She tried to chomp the table (she's teething) lol she's so cute. My mother got the Admiral's Feast with a sweet tea to drink with fries and added a side salad with caesar salad. She really enjoyed her food and was very happy with it. I don't remember what all comes on that sorry. I got the new Lobster Tail Duo meal with a Fully Loaded Baked Potato and Broccoli. The meal came with a Maine lobster tail and a Caribbean lobster tail with a side of butter. The lobsters were cooked to perfection and was quite delicious. The baked potato was very tasty as well as cooked to perfection. Oh yeah and the cheddar bay biscuits was delicious, also remember to get some to go. We had a good time and I...
