I visited this location and I did not have a good experience due to the lack of safety measures taken by the staff. Just in case management sees this review before I call corporate tomorrow and complete the survey tonight, I want to list my order number (18), order time (9/20/20 at 6:16pm), and order total ($5.58) so that they can identify each person that was working during my visit.
After placing my order at the speaker, I put on my mask just in case the restaurant didn't have plexiglass installed at the pay and pick up windows. When I stopped at the first window to pay, the employee had on a mask, but it was only on her chin and there was no plexiglass. Her nose and mouth were exposed and she didn't have on gloves. At that moment, I was concerned about my order and my instincts were correct.
I pulled up to the second window to get my food only to find 6 employees (2 near the window and 4 in the background at the registers) without a mask or gloves. There was no plexiglass at this window either.
As I waited for my food, I saw a young lady with a headset on practicing (what seemed to be) Tiktok moves. I would've been impressed if she at least had on a mask. However, I interrupted her practice by saying excuse me and asking her if the staff members in this restaurant were required to wear masks. She stated, "Yes, we are required to wear masks, but we just got back from break so we don't have on our masks yet". I said thank you and another young lady (not wearing a mask or gloves either) handed me my food.
While I don't know if this McDonalds has a policy where you can return to work after your break without a mask for a certain amount of time, I do know that I was not happy. And of course I had to throw away the food because I could only assume that the employees in the back were preparing food without masks and gloves just like the employees up front.
I don't plan to ever visit this McDonald's again. I just happened to stop there before heading back to Atlanta. If you decide to take a chance by ordering at this location and you take COVID seriously, wear your mask, shield, and gloves as that's the only protection...
Read moreIt took ten minutes for them to just take my order and the first thing they did was yell were not making breakfast at all today. Kind of weird because the breakfast menu was on the screen. I ordered 4 cheese burgers and 2 sodas. I had a whole conversation with the lady about the special with ordering 2 burgers for like $4.79 and she said it's cheaper her way. I said OK and went to the window to pay. I asked for my receipt so I could make sure my order was right and she told me I could get it at the next window. The lady who came to the window was the manager I assume because she was wearing a dress shirt and she got really mad when I asked for my receipt she was very aggressive and rude. I explained the situation and she gave me 2 cups of room temperature soda and walked off. When she came back she gave me my receipt and I told her my order was wrong I explained the conversation I had with the other lady and what I ordered, I told her I know it's not your fault you didn't take my order but I would like my food. She screamed that it wasn't the other ladies fault either. I explained that I was tired, had a headache and would just like my correct order and that I would pay for it. She had a smile on her face now and said no go park at 1 and we'll bring you out 2 more burgers in a minute. I told her again that I'm fine paying for it but she insisted so I parked. She left me there for over 20 minutes. I got back in the line ordered 2 more burgers and this time the first lady was willing to give me my receipt, I checked the order and it was right so I went to the second lady and she still had the smile on her face saying she forgot about me. I ended up getting home with 2 cold burgers and 2 hot burgers and 2 room temperature sodas that had been sitting for over 30 minutes. I do not believe for a minute that she forgot I was there waiting, otherwise she would have let me pay for my food. Read moreEdit 2025!! I have lived in this area for over four years, and my experiences with this establishment were consistently disappointing until recently. The service was subpar, with frequent errors in my orders, rude staff, and long wait times—often up to 20 minutes or more, only for them to forget about my order altogether. Despite multiple attempts, the service continued to fall short, and I found myself unable to return.
However, about two to three months ago, I decided to give this location another try. To my pleasant surprise, the customer service was exceptional. While the line was long, I was served quickly and efficiently, and the overall experience was much improved. I have since returned five to seven times, and each visit has been consistently positive.
I’m not sure if there has been a change in management or procedures, but I am pleased to see this location’s turnaround. It’s refreshing to see a business address past issues and make noticeable improvements. I will continue to visit and hope the positive trend continues.
wrong food every time Only good experience I’ve ever had at this McDonald’s was once in the morning. The other 10 times in the past few years or so have been terrible. They either just don’t care or read the order. I asked for no onions or lettuce on a Big Mac. Instead they added tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. I paid extra for a LARGE meal.
