Mikie's Big Burger — Restaurant in Georgia

I'm new to the area and looking for good spots to eat. A friend of mine wanted to treat me to a good hamburger place she says. We arrive at Mikes Big Burgers and placed our order's with the young man. My friend ordered a turkey burger with everything and I ordered the beef cheeseburger with lettuce and tomatoes. The tomatoes were sliced thick as the burger, the lettuce was chopped up romaine lettuce that made eating the sandwich very messy due to the stalk of the leaf being so thick. I noticed they gave me a turkey burger instead of beef So I go to the counter and let the young man know they gave me a turkey burger and not a beef burger. So He tells me " you ordered a turkey burger with everything " I responded with " no I ordered a beef burger". He then takes my plate to the back where the owner is cooking. The owner then comes up front and in a very rude manner says. You ordered a turkey burger, I then say no we just proven that is not true I ordered a beef burger and my ticket says so. So then because he was so rude I said please return my money how dare you be so rude to a customer. Being the owner of the establishment you should of responded with, let us correct that for you sir and get you a beef burger. However he choose to be rude and very disrespectful buy saying.. also give me back the drink you were drinking.. not sure how he can be in business treating his customers rude. They only have 2 choices of chicken wings, breaded wings or hot wings. The sauce tasted like catalina french dressing and hot sauce mixed together. The young man taking the orders was great. The owner was VERY RUDE!!.. I'll NEVER eat there again and will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE!!! I would of respected him a lot more had he been a gentleman and treated the issue with more respect and customer service. I guess he never heard of the saying is... I ordered 2 special turkey burgers today around 2:30 p.m./when I got home after driving 30 mins away the condiments I ordered was all wrong after repeating myself 3 times to the cashier after specifying what I wanted in there/then after she repeated back to me what I wanted still was wrong when I got home/I called once I got home spoke with the cook which she said she was the manager(Spanish lady) asked me to bring the burgers back for a remake...really!! I mentioned to her I took a pic for her to see that I didn't want tomatoes on it but she refused unless I brought the burgers back so I told her I live 30 mins away & wasn't coming back so I asked when would Mike be in so I could speak with him because I go there all the time with family & friends to support his business (really nice guy) nothing personal to Mike but truly believe Mike would have said he would make the burgers over next time I'm in route. with that said i wasn't about to drive 30 mins back for a remake. Tomatoes are allergic reaction for me. I really wanted to like this place when I went in. I am fond of small eatery's especially if they are locally owned and operated. When I went in I noticed they seem to specialize in Turkey Burgers and if I had hot one it may have been better than the beef burger. The burger had an odd taste almost as if the meat was almost going bad. Or maybe one of the condiments was starting to go bad. I took 2 bites and didn't want to risk a real bad issue so I didn't eat any more of the burger. I did eat the fries but they weren't fresh. They seemed to be maybe an hour old. Not super bad but not what a paying customer would expect when eating out. Service wasn't necessary bad but it did seem as if the person taking my order and money didn't really want to be there and could have been anywhere else in the universe and been at least a little bit happier.

If you like turkey burgers and close by it may be a different experience for you but there are a lot of other places nearby with a plethora of food options.

I hope they figure out what may be wrong there because I seriously hate to see a mom & pop place go under, especially these days.
