Today, I ordered a smoothie online at the Stockbridge 138 location and ran behind at the store so I was late picking it up. Normally when I order a smoothie online at my home store in Stonecrest, or any other Smoothie King for that matter, they put the smoothie in a cold case or the freezer until you pick it up. Conyers also does this. I get to the Smoothie King, mind you it was a little over 30 mins later. I let the young lady know I'm there for a pick up order and she points me back to the front where they have a stand that they place to-go orders. Needless to say, the smoothie was liquid. The girl who helped me was nice, she let her manager know and remade it for me. I appreciated that. As I was leaving the manger tells me to make sure I change the pick up time in the future to avoid this problem. I let her know that generally, the Smoothie Kings I have been to in the past, freeze them until the person gets there. She said they are supposed to put to go orders up front and that I can call next time if I need them to drop it in the freezer....ma'am..there won't be a next time. Yes, I was running late for pick up, but I was under the impression that Smoothie King puts the to go orders in the freezer to keep it cold. 138, your policy sucks. Read moreI’ve spent a lot of money on smoothies for the past few years and have always ordered the same thing it’s either going to be an Açaí bowl or a Hulk Vanilla! Lately when ordering at THIS particular location on Hwy 138 in Stockbridge, there smoothies have been off and I’m not sure if they’re not offering smoothie classes anymore or if the ingredients have changed, but these smoothies are nasty work. Why would they taste different each time if it’s the same smoothie and the same ingredients? They need to spend more time on quality than quantity and put money into these workers learning and knowing how to make these smoothies!!! Imagine waiting 10-15 min which is okay but then having to wait another 10-15 cause it was made wrong, and don’t let it be messed up the third time it’s like oh god!! 138 get y’all ish together and hire ppl who know what they’re doing! Read moreNovember 11th is VETERANS DAY...Smoothie King were giving a 20 oz. smoothies to veterans. I walked in this location and the employee immediately greeted me by saying “Are you here for the Veterans Day smoothie”? I replied “yes”. She said that doesn’t start until 2:00pm, (it’s now 12:30pm). I asked what’s the difference? She replied her BOSS told her the Veterans Day smoothie is from 2:00pm til 4:00pm. I told her the email I received did not give a time. She then proceeded to tell me that Smoothie Kings are franchise and they make their own decisions.I was wearing a “U.S. Coast Guard Retired” hat. Not once did she even acknowledge me being a veteran or even saying thank you for my services. She was more focused on warding me off from the Veterans Day promotion smoothie. I then left the location. It appears the owner wanted to half way claim they participated in honoring veterans which in my opinion they did not.
