I really like the ice cream here. Everything in here is pretty much $7. And you get a fairly decent portion for your money. They have new flavors every week. If you come here often enough, they will remember you and your order if you get the same thing every time like I do.

I always order Butter Pecan. It is filling, not too sweet, and you can add all the mix-ins that you like. I would recommend asking for extra brown sugar butter base because the ice cream does not have a taste unless you add in a generous supply. They pour a cream and sugar base onto the freezer top so you control the sweetness and flavor of your order. (They are pretty much just like Marble Slab or Cold Stone Creamery in terms of picking what you want and mixing items in.)

Service is pretty fast even with a long line. The longest I've ever waited is about 15 minutes. They also have vegan ice cream which I've also tried. The vegan ice cream has a pretty similar consistency to the regular ice cream but tastes slightly different. I can tell the difference because I prefer the dairy version but if you want a tasty vegan option this is a great choice! I enjoy coming in here for a quick sweet treat and would recommend if you have small children. You can order one regular size cup and have more than enough ice cream splitting it between the kids. Very impressed with this place overall. There was a long line at 8:30 p.m. on a Thursday night with it being 38 degrees outside, but the line moved relatively quickly. While we waited, I believe it was the owner's son, came around to give my daughter a toasted marshmallow to snack on. All of the employees were friendly and personable, and the ice cream was delicious. We all chose the ice cream base, but you can also choose yogurt, or vegan base. My husband got the Off Duty, which is coffee ice cream with doughnut pieces, my son got mint Oreo, my daughter got strawberry, and I got the Namaste, which is strawberries, and cheesecake pieces. They call your name when it's your turn in line, and spread the ingredients out on the cooling plate. They mix, press, and roll the ice cream in front of you, then ask if you'd like to add caramel or chocolate syrup. My daughter's pic of her ice cream with chocolate syrup is below. They did my son's name as well. I saw another employee draw a heart for a customer. After that you go down the line for toppings. I saw several people with toasted marshmallows, doughnut pieces, and whipped cream. They have several options. The employee who was working the toppings station came out from behind the counter to give my daughter a small basket of animal crackers. Again, above and beyond service. I hope the enthusiasm from the patrons and employees stays for this place. We need more businesses like this...
