CAVA — Restaurant in Germantown

I cannot say enough good things about my recent experience at the CAVA in Germantown! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what really made the visit outstanding was the incredible customer service.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Laleska, and she was an absolute delight!! Her energy was positive, her smile was genuine, and she carried herself with the kind of kindness and attentiveness that you just don’t see every day in fast casual dining. She went above and beyond to make sure everything about my order was perfect and making sure I left not only satisfied but truly uplifted.

It’s rare to encounter employees who clearly care so deeply about making every guest feel valued. With Laleska, it wasn’t just about putting together a meal, it was about creating a great experience. She is a wonderful example of what amazing customer service should look like, and she represents CAVA beautifully.

The food was delicious as always fresh, flavorful, and filling, but this visit stood out because of the human connection. I left with not just a great meal, but also a smile and a reminder of how much of a difference the right person can make in your day!

To the management team at CAVA: please recognize Laleska for her exceptional service!!! She turned what could have been an ordinary stop for food into something memorable. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be looking forward to being served...

I used to work in restaurants so I'm pretty forgiving. But the girl at the front counter had earbuds and was staring at her phone. No big deal as they don't take orders in the store. So she was probably bored. But I asked her three different questions and every time she looked back down at her phone and I just felt ignored. The manager was the reverse. Five star customer service. It's a really strange place because you have to download an app in order to order your food. I watch two people come inside and then immediately leave saying screw this lol. I was fortunate in that I had had it before. So I knew the food was good so I downloaded it. The first time I got it on door dash. But I got a grain bowl, the rice was really good I really like cucumber onion and tomato which were all options as toppings. Grilled corn was really good too. I thought the sauces I got were really great. I put hummus and Greek vinaigrette and a red something (harisa?) but I don't know what it was called. I thought the chicken the honey chicken and the lamb were all really good. Great options if you aren't sure what to get. They have free wifi and the food is made quickly. So that in itself took away from the weirdness of getting an app. Definitely recommend getting once if you like those...

Excellent meal today at cava. I was right in the area so I stopped by without placing an order online. I was a little perplexed when I saw Cava online kitchen on the marquee but when I went inside I realized that they did not have a place for you to order in store, it needed to be done on their app or online. I imagine this completely streamlines the process for them and they do not have to devote someone to dealing with a register they can just focus on making food. Consequently my food was ready extremely quickly. I ordered in the store and the very friendly lady working told me after I was done ordering to let her know my name so she could make it right then.
