I visited this Chipotle the other night and was met with an extremely rude and unpleasant staff. When I started in the line I was rushed to order. I asked for a burrito and a bowl, the women prepared my bowl and threw it on the counter then proceeded to help the person behind me. I asked again for the burrito and the women rolled her eyes and said something in Spanish to her coworker, Maria. Maria then prepared my burrito and continued making my bowl. Again, rushing me to select by asking continuously what I wanted. When she was making the burrito bowl, I asked her for corn cheese and lettuce with sour cream on the side. She made the bowl with corn cheese and lettuce close it up and slid it down the counter. She did made the burrito and completed that. I asked again for the sour cream on the side, she ignored me and started to complete the person behind me order. I said excuse me and she said one moment in Spanish. I waited for her to complete the tacos from the person behind me when she went to move onto the next person I asked again for the sour cream on the side so I could complete my order and check out. Maria then yelled at me" I said one minute!!" and repeated one minute again in Spanish to me, then continued to address the other customer. This was very rude of her to do being as though I was there and I asked multiple times for the sour cream on the side. I even waited Until she completed someone else's order before I asked again . She began to ignore me when I said something, and the woman who was ringing out, grabbed sour cream from the back because Maria would not acknowledge me. There then was an issue with the register and we had to wait five minutes before we could pay. After I paid, I asked for the name of worker who was rude to me. I then was told by Kayla to step to the side and she would help me in a very rude and nasty tone, again rushing me out of the restaurant. I've been said to her, I don't want to step to the side, I just want her name. She responded to me in a rude tone and says "Maria, now remember it." I've then asked her for her name which she gave to me rudely as well. I don't believe that their behavior was appropriate, it was very rude and very unprofessional of them to speak to a customer that way, and to rush them out of the store and...
Read moreDecent usual food; mediocre, and halfhearted service.Got a burrito on Tuesday night around 8:30 : food reliably good but due to understaffing (or a long break) , my burrito was getting cold by the time I sat down. Tortilla should be at least warm if not still hot. And it of course fell apart.
People behind me (crowd of six) were serviced while my food sat there half done for 4-5 minutes, then another 4-5 minutes to pay for it.
The line was clearly understaffed . Person later returned as crowd built up but needs attention. Cashier / food prep person could work at being friendlier (short & clipped) or at least acknowledge the long wait.
Atmosphere: Cashier/ Staffer’s friends sat slouched at a table with legs & shoes on the chairs long after food (or just drink)was consumed. This isn’t a private hang-out. Someone more mature to give the place presence like they have at that popular chicken place may make a more appetizing experience. So instead of socializing and chitchatting, how about emptying out the trash bins which are overflowing?
Lots of uncleaned tables ( none wiped in the 35 minutes I was there ) & dirty floor with napkins and straw wrappers. Overall sloppy presentation- with lots of better competition of late in Germantown. It doesn’t inspire confidence in food as a result, despite the trademark Chipotle taste.
Also, the music ought to be one notch lower - especially given the lack of sound absorption and bad acoustics. It shouldn’t sound like a night club and the music shouldn’t just be obscure acts for 20-something’s.
Next time the Kentlands one will be given the...
Read moreThis place needs to tremendously work on their customer service. Me and my family came here and all the open available tables were dirty. I was going to go to the cashier to ask for assistance for someone to clean it but a lady came behind me to wipe the table very quickly but ignored me when I was trying to get her attention. She literally did 2 swipes on the table leaving food on the chairs and an empty chipotle bag. I watched her use that same rag to wipe down the soda counters and the TRASH counters and proceeded across the store to another table. I walked over to her and asked if anyone else is helping her because there’s another table that needs to be wiped. She asked which one and I said the one next to that one please(that same table she wiped with my back turned). She goes to the cashier and then comes to wipe the table. We removed the bag and the food on the chairs. I also used hand sanitizer to clean both tables after her. THEN, we’re ordering food, and there’s 1 big scoop left of dry sofritas. I asked the lady taking our order how long before the next fresh batch. She scraped the dry sofritas up and asked how many bowls and I said 2. She tells me that scoop is good for 2. I said no we will wait on the fresh batch please. She then tells me 20mins. So we wait. Everyone and their attitude as if we’re not paying customers of 6 people coming to eat and you have an attitude because we asked for a table to be cleaned and fresh food as there 1 dry scoop left you trying to stretch is ridiculous. Never again! I’m writing this review as I wait on the...
