Quickway Japanese Hibachi — Restaurant in Maryland

Over the past 5 years of eating here, this place has seriously gone downhill. I stopped eating here over a year ago, because the employees are ALWAYS rude for no reason (I could understand a little if I were a difficult customer, but this isn’t the case), their facial expression, their tone, their entire demeanor comes off like you are an inconvenience to them. On top of the service being extremely unwelcoming, the food is always very greasy. You can lift the noodles, and see a pool of oil under them. And their manager is sitting in the corner on his phone, eating, and staring at me every single time I’ve been in here, no exaggeration. Even with all of these previous bad experiences, my friends wanted to eat here today and I was reminded exactly why I stopped. Rude employees, oily food, lazy manager in the corner staring. It’s good for what it’s listed to be. Folks this is a takeout joint lol people out here giving low ratings for not having high quality sushi or not being the nicest interior… it’s takeout lol

The sushi is simple and quick to make, and the food is hot and tastes like standard hibachi takeout. Food is done within 10-15 minutes of a DoorDash order. The interior I personally wouldn’t eat in, but I also don’t walk into Chinese takeout places and eat at their two or three tables lol who even does that?

If you want gourmet sushi go to Kenaki and pay double or triple the price. If you want high level hibachi, well there’s none here will have to drive 20-25 down south. Quickway serves well as the local fast takeout spot.

I ordered from your location on century blvd in Germantown MD and received the wrong order. I immediately contacted the store regarding the order, the representative was Very rude, unprofessional and unwilling to rectify the situation and hung up. I tried contacting door dash about this yet, because the food was delivered through the store front there was nothing they could do. Lastly, I tried contacting the corporate office but the 866# listed on the website is for a medical company trying to sale life alert necklaces.
