Emerald City Smoothie — Restaurant in Gig Harbor

I go to the place almost everyday and honestly it’s hit or miss on what you’ll get. I’ve been charged $2.00 for extra protein and $1.50 for the same exact amount. I’m extra frustrated today because they made me the ring sized smoothie and to fix it she just added more ice to the drink which felt like a slap in the face especially being that I get them for the protein which I told her and when I said the other one had more protein they said it didn’t which the board clearly says it does. And I mentioned that she said the other had more peanut butter in it…ok so you add extra ice blended it and tossed it into a bigger cup. It was very busy at the time 12:10 Friday. I do understand that but honestly what a horrible way to show customer appreciation. I literally go here everyday and to do that felt disrespectful. I’ll just start going to the one in Tacoma before I go to work rather than deal with the the inconsistency’s. I’ve had other issues here outside of being charged all over the place. They also never ask for your number. Now I’m just drinking a watered down...

this morning girl was very good, she welcomed me in, and transaction was quick and easy. Her time managing was great, while shake was blending she would take other's orders and keep on moving.

Also loved their frequently asked questions log, I haven't seen this in other emerald smoothies or I just missed them, but it was easy to spot and good info!

REVISITED same day afternoon after work around 1 o'clock. The employee was the best employee I've ever interacted with at ANY emerald smoothie. She gave me all info about facebook, what days have specials and free things and told me the owner of this franchise is same as one in tacoma. I couldn't get her name to give credit but if owner read this, im sure you can find out. Great...

One older lady with the brown hair is super nice!! And the younger girls are always very sweet to me.

But the other older women who work here are just horrible! They don’t really chat with me, or even really serve me. It’s astounding, the way they act.

I’ve even had one treat me like some grifter or scammer. I had to stop coming in altogether; no way am I spending my hard-earned money here!

The sad part is, I had just had dental surgery, and just wanted soft, nourishing food that I could actually eat :( Typical middle-aged gig harbor women with supercilious...
