Dr Proctor's Bar and Grill (Lounge) — Restaurant in Glendale

First time here. I met someone here for a business meeting and I don't think I will ever come back. construction is being don to the businesses in this strip mall and the parking lot. Overall it was an okay experience. I asked the bartender for a drinking straw and he put grabbed two straws from a container and put them in my drink. That is not sanitary. I took them out of my drink immediately. The straws were not wrapped and we're just sitting out in the elements. People have sneezed, coughed, etc over them and I don't know where his hands had been. There is etiquette to everything. I would have felt better if the bartender grabs a napkin and then grab the staws that were out and sat them next to my glass like they do at most places. The bar stools we're uncomfortable. I had to sit sideways so that my knees were not jammed into the bar. There was a dog going back and forth and jumping up on people. I kept sneezing. I'm allergic to pet dander. This is clearly the neighborhood dive bar. If you do visit here don't sit at the bar unless you're a short person in your knees can fit underneath the bar while sitting on the stool. If I ever decide to come back here it will be to shoot pool or listen to karaoke. I hear the karaoke nights are fun. The bartender was friendly. Patrons...

After I decided the place was not for me because of the immediate glares I got from the bartenders years ago upon entering the place, my Husband still occasionally frequented here because it's in walking distance from our house. If you do enjoy it here, please make sure you check your account after your visit, because it certainly appears that they have a bartender that likes to tip himself.

My Husband was here early in the morning on the 9th and got an 8$ double shot and gave a 2$ tip. Maybe that wasn't good enough?? Because my debit card was fraudulently charged!! The entire time two charges were pending when there was only one purchase. One that reflected the amount it should've been (10$), and a separate one that was initially 13$ but somehow, became 15$ before it posted to my account.

Luckily I caught it and disputed the charges back before AND after it posted so the bank can see exactly what happened. I left a message at the bar yesterday and have been ignored up to this point. Hopefully it was a mistake, and the manager will try to rectify the situation. At no point should your loyal customers have to worry about your employees...

Was feeling super depressed last night and so I came in to release my emotions through singing at karaoke. The KJ who was visibly intoxicated told me and others that she was skipping everyone who put their songs on for her regulars. She let the same people sing over and over again. The list was only 12 songs deep and I was only able to sing 1 song in the 4 hours that I was there. I asked her to sing one last song and she shook her head profusely and then stopped acknowledging me. One of the regulars started recording me complain. I could tell he thought it was so hilarious and showed the KJ. She came up to me and gave me a snide and intentionally insincere apology. I left feeling even worse. I just needed a break from all the things that have been happening to me this last week but I couldn't even get that at a karaoke bar. My suicidal thoughts are back....
