Nestled in the heart of the city, Greek Bistro is a culinary gem that transports you to the sun-kissed shores of Greece from the moment you step through its doors. The authenticity and warmth of this restaurant are evident not only in its delectable cuisine but also in its stunning interior design that immerses you in the beauty of Greek culture.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and a gracious owner who led me to my table with genuine hospitality. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort, with the option to dine al fresco on their inviting outdoor patio or sip on one of their expertly crafted cocktails in the cozy indoor seating area. The full bar and impressive wine selection added a touch of sophistication to the dining experience, making it perfect for any occasion.
My server, Art, was a true professional who elevated my meal to a culinary journey filled with exquisite flavors and impeccable service. I entrusted him to guide me through a multi-course feast that showcased the best of Greek cuisine, and he delivered with precision and grace.

The first course, Saganaki, was a showstopper - the pan-seared kasseri cheese flambéed in brandy tableside was a delight for the senses, perfectly paired with warm pita bread. The Trio of hummus, babaganoush, and tzatziki was a refreshing and flavorful interlude before the Dolma stole the spotlight with its seasoned ground beef, rice, and herb-filled grape leaves served with a side of creamy tzatziki.
The Filet Mignon and New Zealand Lamb Chops that followed were cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with savory goodness that left me longing for more. The Greek rice, grilled vegetables, and tzatziki served alongside the lamb chops complemented the dish beautifully, creating a symphony of flavors on my palate.
To conclude this culinary odyssey, the Loukoumades dessert was a sweet and indulgent finale that left me speechless. The Greek doughnut balls dipped in rose water, topped with freshly homemade cream, rose syrup, and crumbled pistachios, were a heavenly treat that perfectly encapsulated the essence of Greek sweets.
In conclusion, Greek Bistro is a true culinary gem that offers an unparalleled dining experience filled with passion, authenticity, and flavor. From the warm welcome to the expertly crafted dishes, this restaurant is a testament to the beauty of Greek cuisine and hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend Greek Bistro to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience that celebrates the richness of Greek flavors...
Read moreMy wife and I, both of Mediterranean descent were looking forward to trying the Greek Bistro after reading such great reviews online. When we arrive the first thing we noticed was everyone was very nice and it was a nice brightly lit attractive restaurant with contemporary furnishings and it was very busy. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive and didn’t keep us waiting for anything. We ordered the classic Greek lemon chicken soup with rice and the first thing we noticed is it really wasn’t the classic recipe. Firstly, the lemon flavor tasted like lemon concentrate and the chicken was grilled chicken just thrown into the soup instead of being actually cooked in the soup and for the price of $12 for a cup of soup that’s a bridge too far. Also, the iced tea was not really home brewed ice tea. It tasted like that typical mid-level raspberry iced tea that you find in a fast food restaurant. My wife ordered the Gyro bowl and I ordered Pastitsio. My Wite’s dish was kind of typical food court gyro meet with a salad underneath and rice. She said it was unremarkable and kinda average and we both noticed that the pita bread that came on the side was grocery store level pita bread. It was not fresh made or even fresh made somewhere else and bought in. It was just warmed grocery store, pita bread. The yogurt dish on the side of her bowl was also flavorless and seriously low effort. I mean, no one tried to make this taste good whatsoever. First thing I noticed was the béchamel sauce was bitter, which is very unusual because béchamel is supposed to be creamy and mild flavored, almost leaning towards sweet like mashed potatoes or white gravy, which this was neither. It was bitter and kind of funky and weird. The rest of the dish was pretty unremarkable some noodles, some ground beef sauce not ground sirloin by any stretch that was cold in a dish supposed to be hot and the side Greek salad that came with it had lettuce that did not appear to have been washed and had an old wilting sense about it as if the lettuce has been sitting around a little too long. I’m on medication so I couldn’t really afford to re-order anything so I ate what I could scraping the sauce aside. I did mention to the waiter that the béchamel had a very bitter taste and someone should tell the kitchen in case there’s something wrong with it and I heard nothing back about it. So overall nice looking place attentive service but the food is like below Food Court, Greek food so if you want to spend your money, just go to the food court and maybe go to a bar afterwards for a couple of drinks I think you’ll be better off. I really had high hopes and this just turned out to be another crappy restaurant in the valley that doesn’t take what it serves as food, seriously, and constantly expects the public to look the other way after...
Read moreSo there were things I may not order again but didn't mind eating and there were things that I'd order again. If you like lamb, get it. It's so good. The vibe was very greek meets modern. The staff was generally attentive. They worked kind of team based, our server was Derek, but other servers stopped by to check in on us too. Derek was really nice and friendly. The owner or manager stopped by at the end to make sure we enjoyed the experience there too. I'd go back again for sure and recommend others. Make reservations though as I have a feeling this place will be packed in the future. I had gone on a Wednesday night and it was full house although we got in without a reservation without too much of a wait. My only real dislike was that I received the bill before dessert that I ordered arrived. That was a little off putting. I'm not sure if we were being rushed or what, but I wanted to enjoy all the food and experience all the service before paying my bill. I feel like that's the standard practice and didn't like that I was feeling rushed or pressured in that way to hurry up (and mind you between the 2 of us we ordered up enough food for 4 people to eat comfortably because we were so excited to try everything). We ate it up so fast we forgot to take pictures. So my only suggestion to management is to wait until dessert is delivered before giving the check otherwise it was definitely a nice spot and will go back again and recommend that others...
