Hot Wings Cafe — Restaurant in Glendale

Went in at 10:30pm (they close at 11pm) all of the empty tables were still dirty even though there were only about 3 tables occupied with customers. When the food came quickly enough, I asked for ketchup and the cashier/server lady picked up the 3/4 empty bottle of ketchup without even a lid on it from the table right behind us as those customers where just getting up to leave. Disturbed by this, my friend and I asked for a fresh bottle of ketchup. The server then brought that full bottle to the table, but even the labels on the bottle were well worn off with only just little left and the glue where the rest of the label used to be as if the bottle and been wiped and reused several times before. Then, went to use the restroom and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in maybe a week or so as the LARGE waste basket in there was nearly a mountain high overloaded with paper used to dry our hands and the floor was as unclean as a port-a-potty as well as the toilet. If this is the state of things in public view in this place, then I'd hate to see how things are in the unseen areas such as the kitchen and food storage facilities there. Needless to say, won't be going back...

What a great experience!

Greeted immediately while we came in. I've had their buffalo, bbq, spicy bbq and lemon garlic buffalo.

I'd have to say the best one was by far the lemon garlic buffalo. Chicken is fresh. Cooked perfectly! the crunch is amazing. I did notice some of what other reviewers said. The bbq ones were EXTREMELY dry. And I couldn't even eat them they were so dry. But for some reason the other ones weren't. I'm not sure what's going on in the back of the kitchen but consistency isn't quite there.

The curly fries are good. No issues there.

The staff was very helpful. I like how they also offer beer and wine. I mean who doesn't want some beer and wings?

Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite of wings and beer. You really can't go wrong. And if the consistency got better with how moist the other chicken was compared to the overly dry ones? I without a doubt think this place would be far more recognizable on that front. I will definitely return and update my review if the quality/freshness improves.

Was looking for a good wings place in the area and decided to give this place a try. Seemed like a good choice after I walked in and the restaurant was very busy. We were seated very quickly and the service was great the entire time. The ambiance is very nice. Has a classic look and not too big or noisy.

We ordered lemon pepper wings, classic hot wings, and curly fries. The lemon pepper wings were really good, classic was okay. Curly fries were, well curly fries. I would have given this place 5 stars if their specialty wasn't wings. Everything about the place was nice. But I was expecting the wings to be amazing for a place called "Hot Wings Cafe." They were good but nothing special. Prices were good though and I will definitely go back since its a nice place in a nice area with good food. But if I'm ever craving great wings this isn't the place I would go to but a great place to go to in general.
