I graduated from the massage theraphy program 17 years ago. Due that i was only sleeping 3 hours because i was working full time and had a disabled mother, ( i was the one paying all bills at 19 years old). I was not able to pass two classes which they allowed me to retake for free! Job placement after graduation was really helpfull. The bussiness administration tools that they taught me during class help to build a private clientele after two years of hard work. I was able to go from nearlly having food to eat before graduation, to trying the finnest restaurants in L.A. I was able to buy cars, take my mom on vacations after graduating. I launched spa home parties that would make me from 300 to 700 $ a day, (yes after 8 massages in a day ) . I have enjoy having diferent clients, from attorneys, prodessional athleties, to stay at home moms. After leaving everything to get married n raised a family, I was ABLE to still do a few private massages weekly, which im so grateful, because it allowed me to give my family the right attencion while still bringing income for only a few hours. I also did volunteering at the church's military ministry, by helping to launch spa parties for military wives while their husband where deploy! NOW, I dont have much money like before when I started because im back at college, hoping to get a doctors degreee in order to later open some mega day spas! I still work doing private massages a few hours a week, which is perfect for my bussy schedule! In one hour i get paid what working 8 hours at walmart would give me. Also, I figure out if me having like 2 bussines classes from GCC massage theraphy program help me so much , imagine what can i do with a doctors Bussines adminstration degree and my 17 years of massage experiance!!! When ever I call GCC n need help with transcript or any other thing they are extremely helpfull! All my teachers where always willing to help me with any questions we had! I know is being 17 years, but The staff is amazing and helpfull! I did later saw other massage theraphy program students that graduated when I did, they were still working at McDonalds ( there's nothing wrong with that), and found out that were not succcesfull because they did not follow thru with what they taught us GCC massage program. In conclusion, if you aply the tools that GCC massage theraphy program gives you, along with hard work d patience, you can become succesfull! Im so gratefull that because of God and because of GCC i whent from riding to bus to owning cars, from having nothing to eat to eating at the finest restaurants, from beinng the one that was always broke, to shopping sprees! Gosh it felted so good when I bought my disabled mother furniture for the entire home n not be in debt! THANK YOU GCC for helping me get out of poverty, to a decent income that paids more than a person with a 4 year...

2nd time coming to this school, nothing but good things to say. From the staff, to the front desk rep, to the programs. They really do take care of you and are always helping you find a site once you are done with school. I’ve been in the medical field for 3 years now and if it wasn’t for Anoush placing me in my first site, I probably wouldn’t be here the 2nd time around. After getting extensive experience in the field I decided to come back and further my education. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice. My current teacher, Ms. Talita is amazing!!!! That woman is an inspiration, from her extensive knowledge in the field to her good heart + positivity. I love her and I’m so glad I was able to be her student, she would always push us to the limit and let us know that as long as we tried, we would never fail. She is a gem! Mike has also been extremely helpful and a very good mentor. Debra Mays has also been very helpful and has given us tips and tools that we will need once we go to clinicals and work with our hospitals. Maddie our coordinator is also welcoming and answers any questions that we may have and works with us with any concerns we may have. I can’t wait to see what hospital I will be placed in. I know it will be just as a great experience as the 1st. Thank you Glendale Career for allowing me to be your returning student and setting that next step to expand my career! Good things are coming and I can feel it. Would definitely recommend this school to...

I was interested in the Nursing program and scheduled an appointment at GCC. During my visit, a woman named Scarlett approached me and told me my foreign diploma needed to be evaluated and translated into English. She asked me to Zelle her $350 for the service, which I found odd but agreed to.
It took her three months to provide the translation, and when I finally received it, there was an error. I noticed the translation was done by a specific company, so I called them directly to inquire about their services. To my shock, the actual cost was only $30, and the company even sent me a corrected version the very next day!
That’s when I realized Scarlett was overcharging me and likely pocketing the difference. Furious, I confronted her about it. She seemed nervous and claimed she’d never had any complaints before from students, but within 10 minutes of our call, she Zelled me a full refund.
This experience left me wondering how many other students she had scammed in a similar way, charging 10 times the actual cost of translation. I felt compelled to share my story to warn others: Stay away from this college. They are dishonest and operate...
