MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Glendale

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I walk in with my wife and mom to get some pizza. When we walk in there is no greeting. We walk up to the counter where we would get our order started, there was someone with red hair who was making an online order. They didn’t acknowledge us what so ever, could care less we were standing there. Didn’t say we will be with you shortly, or have anyone else come up. We’ve been standing in the same spot for a couple minutes before a girl in the back ask someone else to come out. When the guy with long blonde hair comes out, he rolls his eyes and huffs like he wants nothing to do with helping us. He literally goes to put on gloves and walks to another station. At this point the guy who was making then online order still hasn’t said a word to acknowledge us and comes back over to start another online order and STILL doesn’t say a word to us. We were all shocked at the service that we just ended up saying “thanks guys” to them and started walking out which of course they didn’t even bat an eye. We were standing in line for a while and definitely way to long to not have some sort of courtesy acknowledgement. I will NEVER go back here again and would leave a negative star review if I could. I came to this location recently for dinner with my spouse and waited in line for at least 15 minutes. There were a few people behind us in line. There were only two customers in front of us, ordering (they looked like they were together) and they wanted every topping known to man on their food, and ordered slooowly. Not the restaurant's problem, really, but the employee wasn't really doing anything to move things along when there were other people waiting. The real reason I'm writing this review, though, is after the long wait in line, a food delivery person came in to pick up an order. It wasn't ready right then and there, so the staff immediately gave him a free drink while he waited. We were waiting for 15 minutes in line and the food delivery driver gets a free drink right away? I'm not asking for a free drink, but that was really unprofessional to offer that to him when your in-person customers were waiting way longer. Not cool. The food was...

Typically, I like MOD, especially the Metrocenter location which, unfortunately, is temporarily closed. So I visited the Arrowhead location instead. The salad that I ordered was very good, but the two pizzas were both unimpressive. Also, I was extremely annoyed at the ordering process. While trying to order a pizza, a tall, slender employee kept interrupting me, asking what I wanted on my salad. I made an attempt to go back and forth, but finally gave up and announced to him that I needed to focus on one thing at a time. I dislike being rude, but he gave me no choice. My impression was that it was nearing closing time, and he wanted to be finished so that he could leave. His attitude was almost dismissive.
