DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Glendale

I went here based on recommendation from a coworker of mine. It is definitely a more expensive big and tall store but when you come here you can expect to have a huge variety of clothing and clothing styles to choose from. Ranging from casual, athletic to even business. They do have clearance sections for the money savers but if money normally isnt an issue, you can find some nice looking clothing in any size you really need. They ALWAYS are sending coupons and making online deals that save alot of money and even have knowledgable staff that know when the promos are out unlike other places that dont know their promos. The cool thing I like which I havnt had a chance to do yet is they even have people that can take measurements on cloths for you so you can custom order items. I have gone here mainly for shoes. Specifically work shoes as I who wears either a 14 W or a 15, have a hard time finding a decent pair of shoes that size that will last me a decent time without having to spend a fortune to get it. The pictures I uploaded were two different style Rockport brand shoes that I was deciding between which after a helpful coupon was only just above $80 when the price tag was $110 plus tax. My only gripe is that the selection of shoes they keep in stock in store is pretty small. They have Deer Stags, Rockports, Cole Haans and I think Stacy something I dont recall the name. Whatever you see on the shelf is what they have so if I have any recommendation for anyone is do not go to the store solely for a shoe you think they may have if you have seen it online because I would hate for you to have to make the trip for nothing. Instead, plan ahead and look online at the TONS of options they have online, you can find so many more styles and colors and they most of the time will include free shipping to you or the store where you can pick it up.

More like a 4.5 I enjoyed the subtle atmosphere and the store was very well laid out. The clothes were very well organized and the Employee/ Manager was able to direct me to the area containing each article of clothing I had asked for. He was also professional enough to recommend apparel that would match what I was looking for. Only issue I had was NOT because of the restrictions placed due to the Covid-19 Virus, but rather the attitude the clerk had shown when he was trying to get somewhere where my fiancé, myself and another gentleman were located. He didn't want to get closer due to the 6 foot rule. But he waited approximately 5 seconds before getting aggravated and saying something in a highly rude fashion; It was rather harsh of a statement but it was worse in the TONE in which he said, "I don't care who does it, but one of you [he might or might not have said someone] needs to move so I can get in there". He could have simply been more patient or stated nicely that, he needed to get to where we were at and state he wished to follow the 6 foot rule and ask us if we could quickly move aside. Please keep in mind that is was only Me, my fiancé and another gentleman who were shopping in the store at the time along with the employee or manager, so it was not due to the need to hurry back to work as the store was in top shape, but in the end, I am unsure of the reason/reasons. He was polite after that however and in the end, helped solve some issues I was having with getting the right attire to obtain the 75% off the 2nd pair of certain articles of clothes. He set me up with an account and proceeded to check me out. I still hope he has a great day and stays safe and stays strong. I was in the store for over 45 minutes to an hour and within that time I noticed there were two sales Clarks in the store with existing customers I was approached after about 10 minutes after already being in the store. I inquired to one of the sales clerks about my sizes and I was immediately taken to the sales rack.. I informed the clerk that I wasn't interested in sales items but I was interested in finding things that were in my size. After that I was left on my own to find my own sizes after being in the store over 20 minutes I was seeking help from the clerk to reach the higher items on the rack before whatever reason he seemed to be more in tune to the other customer and not myself so I shop the store trying to find items that would fit me without the assistance of a sales clerk periodically I would be asked if I'm finding everything I need it but even when I inquired I was always told that they were out of my size finally I was able to muster up a few items at that point I became very frustrated and decided to just buy whatever it is I could find but I was more in tune to try on things but had to walk around and find a clerk to open the fitting room but again the sales clerk didn't really seem interested in in me as a customer. When it came to asking the clerk about the discount that would apply to my sales items I was told something entirely different the shirts that were marked would be discounted at $39 for it if I would have purchased t-shirts so it led me to believe that I was overcharged...
