5-Star Review for Mad Greens – Peoria (75th Ave & Bell Rd)

I stopped by Mad Greens today after church service for lunch and had such a great experience! I visited the location at 16955 N 75th Avenue in Peoria between 11:00 and 11:30 AM, and I just have to give a big shout-out to Ryan and Alyssa.

Ryan was personable, friendly, kind, and jovial — the kind of team member who truly makes your day brighter. Alyssa was customer-focused, task-oriented, and very friendly as well. Together, they made my visit exceptional!

My son introduced me to Mad Greens, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Today, I ordered my favorite — the Ty Cobb Salad, made with hand-chopped romaine, roasted Southwest chicken, fresh avocado, bacon crumbles, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and cage-free hard-boiled eggs, tossed in house blue cheese dressing. I added just a splash of the cilantro lime dressing for an extra burst of flavor — absolutely delicious!

My son tried the Pancho Villa, which has quinoa, roasted chicken, avocado, fire-roasted corn, and a house-made cilantro chili lime dressing. We also shared the Southwest Bowl, and it was fantastic — full of texture, freshness, and bold flavors.

Honestly, everything we’ve tried at Mad Greens has been amazing — I could eat here every day! 🥗✨

Please, please consider opening another location closer to Happy Valley & Lake Pleasant Parkway or somewhere in Surprise — I’d be your first loyal customer!

Well, I used to love this place. It was my go-to for wraps and salads. Now, I'm planning on not returning.

I ordered an Annie Oakley wrap for my wife and I. Normally, there’s no issue, as I said. This time, however, we received it, and it was a third of the size that it used to be.

When I called about it, the shift lead said they were over-portioning before. I explained that the size was a drastic difference and that there was next to no dressing on it. I asked if there was anything they could do, and they said there was nothing; that's just how it is.

Well, this feels like a bait-and-switch. Wraps are about $12 each before tax. If the current portioning is the accurate amount, then the tortilla is disproportionately larger than the filling.

It was like 75% tortilla and dry—way too much in ratio to the filling. If the new portion size is supposed to be correct, then their chefs who came up with the menu made a poor decision and should have smaller tortillas for the amount of filling.

Also, when there is such a significant change like this, it's only right to consider refunding the meal cost. Or even putting an upfront to inform customers of changing portion sizes. This is not what we ever experienced during the two years we have been going here. It’s a totally different experience and disproportionately high price for...

It was my first time at Mad Greens and it was pleasant :) i wish this location was closer to my home or workplace because it took me 15 minutes from work just to get here which is not really doable on a lunch break.

When I first got there I was the only one in line around 1pm, but then a whole bunch of people followed in after me. I thought I was just lucky for the rush hour.

Think of this place as a chipotle style- but for salad and wraps :) I just ordered 2 salads that were already on the menu; the TY Cobb and the Pancho Villa Salad.

I am giving a 4 star, because I wish the employees would have been a little more interactive with me, for example, ‘ have you ever been here before? Let me explain how it works, let me know if you have any questions’, etc.” I felt like I was a little bit rushed and didn’t really know what I was getting.

I got my salads to go, and I liked the container they put it on with the dressing on the side. And omg the drink options were amazing! I love that they had a cool unique soda brand and fun teas- the Mexican cola was amazing and the teas were great too (I tried both with a refill before I left).

Overall the salads were a great size for the cost and the flavors were great! I would...
