UPDATE: The general manager, Kevin Lawler reached out to me and asked me to contact him, which I did. Kevin was very kind, and after making a couple of suggestions regarding different options I could pursue, non of which were satisfactory to me, he asked me to give him a week to work on the matter with corporate. At the end of the week my husband and I stopped in at Jared while we were out and asked to see Kevin. Kevin was not only professional and kind, he was genuinely enthusiastic about working out a solution to the situation that went above and beyond my expectations! I was treated like royalty and was given several options to choose from regarding the replacement of my center diamond. Kevin renewed my faith in customer service and the ancient concept of doing right by your customer. Not only am I thrilled with the solution Kevin presented me with, I love my new ring and I feel as if I have gained a friend in Kevin Lawler.
DO NOT buy from Jared. My husband and I bought a new setting from them for my wedding ring. THEY set my stone, and as per their requirements I have brought my ring in for cleaning and inspection over the years. My ring has been brought to them several additional times for repair as the baguettes were frequently falling out. Just recently my center diamond fell out and is lost forever. I took my ring in to Jared and was informed that Trey would do nothing regarding the loss of my center stone as I did not purchase it from them. This is the diamond that THEY set in the setting that THEY sold me and was inspected by THEIR jewelers. I was told by them that my stone that they set and inspected would only be covered if I had bought said stone from them. In other words, they will sell a sub-quality setting and provide sub-quality workmanship. The gentleman I spoke with was unhelpful and, quite frankly condescending when speaking g to me. NEVER will I purchase another piece of low quality jewelry from such a low quality establishment. I’m so disappointed that “ He...
Read moreEDIT The GM called me and had a thoughtful conservation with me about my experience. I appreciate him taking the time out of his day to care about my experience. Since then we have returned to look for bands. My fiancé found his band but I am still looking. Barry was really great and personable! Liked working with him.
I originally came in to get my ring cleaned. When I was greeted at the door, the woman took my ring immediately at the door. Normally they take it once I am near the counter and a microscope. I did not like the way it was handled, I don't like it being out of my sight. She questioned the value of my ring and then continued to look at it for flaws. I proceeded to tell her my diamond is flawless to which she giggled and then admitted to not finding any flaws. Then she says I have a loose stone so of course I pay to have it tightened because no one wants to lose a stone. The ring was supposed to be ready by Saturday at 5pm. I went in at 525pm to pick it up and it was not ready. I waited about 10 minutes and then the lady came back with my ring. It was horribly scratched on the inside of the band and I was shocked. I asked her about it and she scoffed at me and then took it over to the back area with the cleaning machine I assume. She brought it back and there were still scratches on the inside of the band and this time there was a black substance all over the inside. I slid the ring on my finger and had black all over it. I showed her the black stuff and the scratches and she scoffed again and then snatched my ring and handed it to another employee as if she didn't want to deal with me anymore. I have every right to expect good service from Jared's. I trust them with my very expensive ring that is obviously very meaningful and important to me. I expect to pick my ring up without hellacious scratches and filthy black stuff all over it. That is not asking much. You can do better Jared's.
Giving 3 stars mainly because other times I've been here, they've been nice...
Read moreVery disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship. My engagement and wedding rings were both purchased from Jared at this location, costing over $8000. Shortly after our wedding, my rings were brought in to be fused. It took 11 days for them to do that. Upon pickup, we immediately noticed the poor work that was done on it. The rings were misaligned, offset and one part was bent inward (which appeared to be an attempt at forcing the rings to line up after it had been fused). We had them redo it. They “rushed” a repair which took an additional 3 1/2 days. I was quite happy when picking it up again. It appeared they had done a good job with alignment and fixing the spot that had been bent. However, after 4 days, the diamond in the previously bent spot, had fallen out. Once again I brought it in to be fixed. I requested they check all the prongs to make sure it all looked good. This time the repair was to take 14 days. It was ready for pickup a few days earlier than estimated. I picked it up and it looked good. However, once again, the diamond fell out after 3 weeks. Mind you, I am currently a stay at home mom. I’m not out doing hard labor with my ring. The usual household chores. Now I have it back at Jared for another round of repair. This time it’s estimated to take 16 days. I am frustrated with what I believed would be quality jewelry and craftsmanship. My ring has been in for repair more days than I have actually had to wear it. I’ve been married for just 2 months and it has been in Jared’s hands for more than 30 days total!!! My view of Jared providing quality jewelry and service has been drastically diminished. I don’t plan on purchasing jewelry from them again until my confidence in their products and abilities are reaffirmed. Hopefully my ring will last more than 3 weeks before needing to be...
