El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Glendora

If I could give negative stars I would. Every time I go to this store in particular the line is super long. And to make matters worse they always forget something. Tonight me and my girlfriend stopped by for a late dinner waited 30 mins in drive thru line. The person taking our order was rude through the intercom then when we finally approached the window he just opened the window. Told me a total. And took my card. Then handed me a bag that was sloppily thrown together. Horrible customer service. The young man not once thanked us or even made eye contact for that matter. We finally get home. And again our order was wrong. My girlfriend ordered a two piece meal with a breast and a wing and two sides. We got a black container that had 2 chicken legs rolling loosely around in it. And no sides. My burrito was cold and barely had any chicken in it. I went back to get my correct food. There was a long line of people waiting to order and nobody working the counter I finally got a manger who was rude and acted annoyed with me. After having to come back I was still treated horribly. And did I mention the ice cream machine was down and ice maker down two. They were offering combos with no drinks. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience all together. I love el pollo loco but I will never go back to...

Absolute terrible service. I ordered here today at this restaurant for a 5:15 delivery, and my dasher came at 5:00. I get some people have trouble with my location, but after confirming he was in the same parking lot as me, I told him to drive to the front of the parking lot where I was waiting. It's only been 5 minutes and this man keeps yelling, "Hello? Hello? Hello? Where are you? I said I was here and your not here!!". He kept yelling a couple other things that I could not understand because of his heavy language, but he moved to a new location, without my approval, and misdirected me into a completely different parking lot. So not only was I frustrated walking around the wrong parking lots, but this man continued to yell at me, giving me the wrong parking lot name. He finally saw me walking by and called out to me, and with the most michevious smile and said "Oops, sorry." This is completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated like this, nor should any employee be allowed to get away with this. I still know his name too, if this location would like any more information...

I actually stopped going to pollo Loco because I went to a party where it was catered by Pollo Loco, and the rice and beans were horrible, and some pieces of the chicken were overdone. I really like the recipe of sauce they use on the chicken. I don't know what it is but it's a different taste. My mom suggested Pollo Loco, and I told her about my experience with them. She talked me into it, and said, "this one is different...their food is good at my local franchise." And she was right! The food was great...the chicken pieces were perfect with that same sauce... the coleslaw, beans and corn were great...did not have rice, so do not know about that...the corn and flour tortillas were great...the chips and guacamole were good, although they need to make the guacamole containers a bit bigger. Ask for extra. Not too badly priced for the family meal.

I ended up going another night with my brother. The $5 bowl meal is a good budget meal, tasty and filling, plus you get a free chips and guacamole for signing up on their app. Just redeem the reward. So I'm giving Pollo Loco...
