Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Goldsboro

** Update on 04/11/25 - I was curious enough to stop in today to see if they had food today 🤣 & sure enough they were out of vegetables & guacamole. This has been happening consistently since mid-March at least for me. I’m stopping in early in the day too. This time I just turned around & left. Some of the employees (not all) seem so over it. I’m now headed to Bonfires which is just down the road. So far they’ve never been out of anything & it’s a small business. Also, they have the editable taco bowl which is so good & their guacamole is delicious. They also give a good discount for first responders. Bye Chipotle!

Lately, every time I go they are out of most things. One day it was chicken & rice. Then it was vegetables & corn. Are they gonna charge me less for giving me less ? No. Except I pointed out all I got was some sides thrown into the “bowl.” The manager was nearby & agreed I should be charged less so I appreciate he made it right. According to my own visits and the reviews I've read this location has a continuous problem with being out of products. And nothing seems to be done about it. In one months time I've gone into this Goldsboro, NC location 4 times and have been very disappointed, 1st) time you got rid of the best of the 2 steaks you had, 2nd) time you were out of lettuce and no tea, 3rd) time no brown rice and no lettuce 4th) a paper sign on the door stating they were out of cheese, queso, & black beans. Next sign I expect to see is " CLOSED " . And each time me and my friend(s) have walked out, we come from out of town just to eat here. And there is no call for this much outage ALL the TIME. Food is always amazing but the customer service is far off. Especially the last time I went there. Not one person asked how I was doing and didn't ask if I was dining in or taking out. The lady just put it in a bag. The lady's on the line where talking junk about the customers, out loud. Except one young lady who looked scared to even be there!!! But I took my food home and enjoyed ever bit of it. There horrible customer service won't stop me from coming back. Just know to look for a name tag next time.
