Food always great, service always great. No complaints about the staff. They are doing their jobs. But if you can’t pay them a fair wage for doing their jobs, why are WE pressured to tip? The staff is not pressuring us, but this whole new POS system implemented at fast food style places are ridiculous and essentially comes across as an auto-gratuity system… pressuring to tip just for employees doing their job: Cashiering and making sandwiches… not serving. That is not what tipping is meant for. As someone who is a bartender and a 10+ year vet in the restaurant industry, companies like you ruin it for people who actually deserve and earn tips as their wage and actually make less-than or equal to minimum wage and literally live off of tips.
“TIP FATIGUE” is a real thing, and it’s causing consumers to tip less because all industries are starting to GOUGE consumers with tip-pressure screens outside of the restaurant industry… causing people to tip less where it’s actually earned. Pay your...
Read moreOf all the Firehouses I’ve been to from Florida and East to West while traveling this one’s quality of food and keeping up with their products is amongst the worst.
To start they didn’t tell you upfront that the drink machine had 9 flavors of the 27 offered which has no colas at all (see image).
I add a max and cheese to the sand which and pay another $5 at the end of it to only be majorly disappointed…so much so that I couldn’t even finish it. It was supposed to be creamy 4-cheese, but when I sat down in the establishment and took the lid off I realized that there were some chunks of “cheese” like cottage cheese looks. Not the worst part…the worst part was that it was a thin soup and bland no cheese flavor (see image).
The 3 stars come from the fact that the service was good and the manager and employees where apologetic to the circumstances here and at the end refunded me for the Mac and cheese which...
Read moreTerrible service. Must be short staffed. When we stepped up to order the girl at register walked away and started helping the other two guys make sandwiches. The online orders were coming through over a machine that spit out a sticker with the order on it. We must have stood there at least 20-25 minutes and the girl never looked at us, acknowledged we were there, or said she would be with us any time soon. The line behind us kept growing longer as she made sandwiches. The online orders were being taken and made immediately while we stood there with no one waiting on us. Customary practice is to provide for the person actually present in front of you instead of the phone or electronic orders. Will NOT go back. Most of my reviews are positive, but I have to let others know about...
