Bojangles — Restaurant in Goodlettsville

This is the second time I ever got something from Bojangles, the first was at work for a reward dinner. This time I picked up lunch for some co-workers. I had the chicken tenders and the Mac and cheese. The tenders were generous in size. The seasoning is what they call "Cajun" (the only seasoning they have) and I would describe it as mildly spicy. The nice thing is the seasoning isn't greasy. I had the honey mustard dipping sauce while my friend had the jalapeno sauce. Mine was good and she said hers was good, too. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. The biscuit was really good, but you have to ask for honey packs (which I didn't do). I got the sweet tea which was good.

The cashier was really nice, explaining the menu, and being patient as I had to call co-workers about sides.

Our visit to Bojangles was a mixed experience. When we walked in, the workers seemed a bit bored, but they were very nice and ready to help once we approached them. The chicken was delicious, living up to its reputation. However, the downside was that no sauces, including hot sauce, were included with our order. It might have been our mistake to forget to ask, but since it was our first time, it would have been helpful if the staff had suggested it.

The restaurant is conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, which is a plus. However, the place could use a thorough cleaning, as the grease buildup was noticeable. Overall, it was a good experience, but there’s room for...

I used to love BoJangles. Still do I guess for breakfast, but I will never visit this particular store again for lunch/dinner. I paid $12 for a meal that should have been at most $8. The chicken was way overcooked. I was disappointed as soon as I saw the meal and almost asked for a refund. In hindsight I should have. If you visit this store plan to come off the hip and pay more than you should for a poor quality meal. This review is not dissing the employees. I think they are doing the best they can with the tools they are given by the owner of this store. The owner needs to take a look at his operation and make some positive changes before he goes out...
