TL;DR - A modern millennial-style bar with a rustic bear-and-woods vibe. It may be small in size, but it delivers on charm and atmosphere. What it lacks in square footage, it makes up for in character.
Full review - This is a cozy little spot that blends modern aesthetics with a nostalgic, outdoorsy feel. The bear theme and rustic touches give it a unique enough identity without being overdone. It feels like a place where you can unwind comfortably.
The dining/bar space itself is quite small, probably around 500 square feet, but it never felt cramped during my visit. If i was there with more than seven or eight others insice, it may seem to get a little tight. The ceilings are tall, which helps it feel more open. If the weather is good, the patio out back actually offers more space than the inside does, which is a nice bonus.
The kitchen and bar area take up about a third of the space and is in full view, along with a single bathroom. It is a tight layout, but it is well designed and makes the most of what is available. Despite its size, the bar feels friendly and relaxed, great for catching up with a friend or two.
The draft list is well selected, made up mostly of familiar Northeastern favorites. Nothing wildly adventurous, but well chosen for this kind of setting. I had a few snacks while chatting with a friend, and the service was prompt and pleasant. Food came out quickly and everything felt easygoing.
There is a respectable whiskey list too. I asked for a custom cocktail and the bartender was more than willing to create something. It turned out fine, though I think I would have been better off ordering from the regular cocktail menu. That was on me, not them.
Overall, it feels like a comfortable local hangout. It has just enough polish to feel a bit elevated, while keeping things casual and approachable. It is the kind of place you can pop into for a drink and stay for the...

Been meaning to give it a proper review but to tell you the truth I didn’t want anyone to know cept us locals. So let’s keep this between us…lol.
And i wish there was something left to be said.
But let me try…
Atmosphere, staff, food. From the outside you wouldn’t believe it was worth stopping. If you made the mistake and did so you’d know where I’m going.
It’s all been said but what hasn’t been said or at least elaborated on is the scratch kitchen.
Probably 6’ x 6’ space and the chefs continually put out great food. We haven’t had a bad anything. The portions are good and the prices are fair.
Owners, staff and chefs (because they deserve that title) are awesome.
Truly a find in a small town.
Don’t stop here unless you plan on having a nice relaxing environment great food and great staff and service. Even the locals that frequent this place daily are extremely cordial and friendly.
Did I mention live music…?
Don’t tell anyone...

We had an amazing dinner at The Bear’s Den in Granby! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The steak frites were cooked perfectly with tender, juicy steak and crispy fries. The hot honey chicken sandwich had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy — definitely a standout! We also tried a custom burger, which was juicy and came out exactly as ordered. The buffalo chicken salad was huge, loaded with toppings, and had just the right kick of heat.
Even the kids’ meal impressed us — our little one devoured the pesto pasta!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for families, and the service was friendly and attentive even during a busy night. You can tell this place cares about quality and creating a good experience for everyone.
We’ll absolutely be back — this is the kind of local gem...
