The food from here is always great, but the service I received tonight was unacceptable. I had ordered two 16" Gargantuan subs for myself and my family. I know they cut them in half, so it's really easy to share. I walked in when my order was ready, in my work uniform. My place of work gets food from here all the time for us, so our companies have a good relationship, which is why I was shocked by the experience. I let the man behind the counter know my name, and that I was picking up my order. He was a taller, older than middle-aged man with thick glasses and an accent that was difficult to understand at first. So I repeated that I was here to pick up my order, even telling him what the order was, and repeated my name. I think at first he was trying to be humorous, but he said that he wasn't sure if he should give me the bag because it was "so heavy", also adding that "it's like three pounds". So I played along at first, saying it was ok, and I think I was strong enough to handle it. So he slowly passed it over to me, and I feigned that was too heavy, acting like I almost dropped it. The kitchen staff got a kick out of that, and laughed a little. As I thanked the man and turned to walk out the door, the man behind the counter said something along the lines of "you gonna be able to handle all of those yourself?". I stopped at the door, and slowly turned back to him to ask "wait, you think this is all for me?" All he did was smile (which even with his mask on you could tell) and then just shrug at me. Now to put things in perspective: I'm 6'1" and, yes, I'm overweight. I didn't take kindly to the comment, and just shook my head and left, disappointed. I didn't even have the patience or energy to ask him for his name. I have no problem with some friendly banter, but I wasn't aware that fat shaming was a skill that Jimmy John's looks for in their employees. I've been to numerous JJ's locations, even back in my home state, and I've been coming to this location for over a year, and have never had this issue before. This specific JJ's location will no longer be...
Read moreAbsolute worst! Ordered online at 11:08a.m., my food wasn't delivered until 6p.m.!!! My kids missed their lunch at summer camp! Spent $27.27 for their delivery driver to ride around with my food in their car. Restaurant shift leader "Ben" was no help and very sarcastic and rude. Tried to insinuate that I was lying about my order. My ring door bell camera, neighbor, and other food deliveries say different. Everything is recorded. Such a shame, this location used to be top notch. Now they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Will never order from them again!
**Update 7/26/24 The Owner of the franchise called me and totally skirted accountability! Was not only belligerent but just as rude and sarcastic as his staff, explains a lot. I called the Corporate office (Inspire Brand who owns Jimmy Johns & a few other restaurants) who ultimately worked with me toward resolving the matter. We will see how things work out in...
Read moreI was served by the “the manager” and I ordered the Vito, which I get regularly. I was asked if I wanted mayo and I said absolutely not. I got to work and took a bite. Mayo everywhere. I called and told her there was mayo on my sandwich. She said “ there is no way I put mayo on my sandwich” and that’s where the attitude started. I arrive at the restaurant and the attitude continues. So much attitude that I no longer wanted a sandwich. She refused to give me a receipt for my order or a receipt for my refund. I dine here 3 times a week and now all that $$$ will go to Jersey Mikes. Their staff is polite and the owner is an awesome person. 1 person can ruin your business. I would like to be contacted by an owner or corporate. I have still not be texted a refund confirmation as the “manager “ stated would happen. This complaint happened at...
