I ordered a sandwich online with a cup of soup. I ordered my sandwich with NO mayonnaise. Because I was feeling bad, my daughter drove over to pick it up. When she came back the sandwich had mayonnaise all over and the soup was lumpy and cold. I spent almost $18 for a sandwich made the wrong way and cold soup. When I called them, of course, they told me to come back. NO! I wanted my food right to begin with. Its very frustrating to get all the way home and your food is not the way you ordered it. Especially, when it’s so expensive. I just wanted my money back, which they said they would do. It is now two weeks later, and despite repeated attempts to call (nobody ever answers) and contacting corporate twice, I still don’t have my money back. I threw all that food away and I have nothing for my money. This was not a 2 or 3 dollar burger. Grayson, the manager, sent me an email asking me to call, but it was just to appease the corporate inquiry. Not because he really wanted to make it right, because when I call, nobody EVER answers the phone. I used to love Schlotzsky’s, but the service has become horrible. Rude, incompetent teenage kids who don’t give af. They’ve change the recipe on many of their items, they CONSTANTLY mess up your order, they’re far too expensive even when they get it right, and then when there is a problem, you can’t get your money back. The only reason I did Schlotzsky’s that night is because my daughter was here and wanted it and it was close. I told her this particular store was particularly bad, but she was insistent. Needless to say, I was right! I will never eat at Schlotzsky’s again, particularly this one. I’d advise everyone else to avoid it too. They mess up your order and don’t care and refuse to make it right unless you want TO COME BACK and...
Read moreFood was good, but service was lacking today. It reeked of confusion. I am watching servers wander around with a sandwich and ticket in their hand with a confused look on their faces. Really people!! How hard is it to match the number that you have in your hand with the number on the sign at the table? I went with a friend of mine. We ordered at the same time. He gets his order 15 min after ordering. After 25 min I ask the man behind the counter, who I assume is the manager. He yells something to the back and then ignores me. I ask him if they lost my order and he says they are working on it. Sorry I asked. Look if you lost the order then admit it and apologize. Don't just say your working on it. What you've been "working" on it for 25 min? Anyway, usually its ok. Just today it was pretty bad. It just smelled of confusion from beginning to end. That reflects on Management. That is why I am giving a 3
UPDATE
They have recently remodeled and changed their slogan/look. Ugh..... I like the interior...I guess... They added a phone charging area which is nice. But the slogan..."Austin Eatery"? Yes I know the original store was in Austin, but no one really cares. At lease I don't. Why limit yourself like that. I would have loved to have been in the market research for that. Anyway...the change in look & logo still hasn't fixed the Service problem. Waited in line for 10 min to order and took another 20 min to get order...sigh... still...
Read moreCame thru drive thru tonight. First, no one answered the speaker so I pulled up and pulled back. No biggie, right? Maybe they didn't hear it. Received my order, pulled off. Checked my bag and receipt. I thought the price of salads went up but then I looked at my receipt and I was charged for the wrong items. Ok, people make mistakes. Parked car, walked in.
Asked the lady at the counter for a refund for the difference...she said the manager was busy. I waited about 5 minutes then another worker asked if I needed help and I told her that the other gal said she was busy so yeah, I guess I'm being helped.
The second woman proceeded to talk to the first gal, talking about I tried to help her blah blah, basically talking about me out loud to the other coworker. Since I heard her, I spoke up and told her, yes, I'm being helped and (i don't know why she's talking shyt behind the counter). There was no issue until now! She had a funky attitude and while I was waiting I overheard her say, "I wanna go home, I don't want to be here." So because she wants to go home and can't she treats customers rude and with an attitude then proceeded to walk out the whole restaurant!! I don't know her name (no name tag) but she is black with shoulder length hair. If you don't like your job, find another one.
I will never return...
