First time trying this place and I know this is going to be a local favorite for me now. I got the chicken fajita tacos and cheese papusas. It was delicious, great comfort food. Grilled juicy seasoned fajita chicken with onions and they have me coleslaw, cilantro, onions, and fresh homemade green salsa with them. I got them on corn tortillas. The papusas were stuffed with delicious stretchy cheese and I ate them with cilantro, onions and salsa on top. This seems like a great hole in the wall place and it's been around for 25+ years, run by the same family. It was easy to get a table at dinner time and they even let my dog stay with me at my table (a small border collie send he slept beside my chair after the long day). They also have great prices - $2.5 for each taco or papusa no matter the meat or fillings in it. And you can order as many as you like. Great on my wallet. I'll definitely be back again and again.
Update: Ordered tacos again, this time with GrubHub, and they didn't disappoint. Very good again! This time I got the Al Pastor chicken fajita tacos, pulled beef taco, and seasoned pork taco. The chicken is still my favorite. I love the homemade salsa and fresh flavors. Cost me a little more through GrubHub because of the fees, but still easy on the wallet and worth it. I'll be...
Read moreIf you want a butchered interpretation of Americanized "Salvadorian" pupusas and tacos, all while dealing with passive aggressive attitudes during Saturday lunch hours, go ahead and give your hard earned dollars to this place. I gave it a shot because it was the only place near here that served "authentic" Salvadorian food, and I paid for it dearly. The beans were dry and sticky, the curtido was bland and flavorless, the pupusas were flaky and the salsa was too chunky for pupusas. I could have caught them at the wrong time on a bad day, but I don't care about coincidences when I'm spending good money on what SHOULD be good food. All of this just to get the most passive aggressive attitude I've come across in a while by a lady that acted like she just needed me out of the restaurant so she could go back to doing a whole lot of something since not more than 3 people were already sat in the restaurant with their food. I'll make the drive to other restaurants even if they are further away, I learned my lesson...

You walk in and they look at you, talk and treat you like a kid, even if you speak Spanish. I still remember walking in and the attendant came over, pretty much order me where to seat and then taking my order in a rude and impatient way. Here in Grapevine TEXAS ! I’m never coming back until they fix this place. All the other places around here treat you so well in a nice manner, but this...
