Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Greeley

I went in to CSC on opening day. I have a nut allergy, and I made sure to tell the cashier when I ordered to please hold the nuts on the grape salad because of an allergy. However, after driving back 30 minutes back home, I opened my box to find my grape salad had nuts on it and had contaminated the rest of the box. I 100% expect mistakes to be made when a restaurant first opens, but this mistake could have been deadly.

I called the restaurant shortly after arriving home, and the woman on the phone offered to remake it for me to come pick up, to meet her halfway (since I was a bit of a drive away, this was a very kind offer and I respect that), or a full refund. I opted for the refund. I gave her my receipt number, she confirmed it with me by checking which items I had ordered compared to the receipt, and told me she put the refund through. Over a month has passed and I never received my refund.

Again, I understand that opening weeks are a tire fire for everyone, but a mess-up like this can potentially be devastating to someone's health, and the missing refund just rubs salt...

This review is long overdue but is still fresh in my mind because of the amazing food and service we received. We took a chance on trying Chicken Salad Chick because we drove by it but have never gone. We are SO GLAD we did. The place was clean and inviting, but what made our experience amazing was the service provided by the staff. Karol is fantastic! As this was our first time, she was very knowledgeable and great at providing an overview and recommendation of the menu. What really surprised me was the ability to sample products! You don't get this kind of service at other restaurants. As we were waiting for our meal, I couldn't help myself and had to inform the GM of how positive my experience was and tell her how great Karol was. The GM was also great. She showed me how I could earn points for future food credits and spoke very highly of her staff and the pride she had in her store. We had such a wonderful experience here! You can tell this is a female run business because of the attention to detail in the decor and overall experience. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting with cute decor. It has a modern southern charm! Even the bathroom soap had a nice scent! The food was great! At first thought chicken salad may not seem that exciting, but they have so many flavors and side options. The food is light and fresh, yet filling. They provide samples as well! I ended up trying 3 of the chicken salad flavors and loved them all. I thought it was a good value as my meal came with a sandwich, side, pickle, and cookie for about $10. Best of all the service was outstanding, which you don’t often find unfortunately. The young man behind the register was very service oriented and knowledgeable about the menu.
