My family and I went 1/19/2024 to have the last dinner with my husband and so his family could see him one last time before he leaves again to go back to work in the military. Let me just say we have eaten here multiple times and had never had an issue like this! Our server Katie was absolutely amazing! She took care of us got everything and anything we needed and continued to check in on us! But not so much for Abby the manager. When our food first came out the majority of us got Alfredo just to fine that there was barely any sauce besides maybe a spoon full on each one of our! So we asked our server Katie if we could go ahead and get just a little more sauce to put on our Alfredo’s as for them being very dry she said absolutely and came back out with two small sides but then we needed Mateo more to we asked for two more and she was going to go back to go get them. I don’t know what happened in the back but Abby the manager then came to our table to ask if everything was ok there for we said yes we’re just waiting on the two extra sauces because our food was very dry she continues to say she will get us a boat which at Olive Garden is 5 or so dollars. We weren’t needing a whole boat but just the two small little dishes and we even pointed them out she then continued to say ok and turned around and rolled her eyes! We saw her go to the computer and stand there for longer than a few minutes. It was obvious that something was up! Our server Katie comes back out with 4 BOATS of Alfredo sauce we then told her no we’re not taking these that her manager came over we explained what we needed and told her no to the boat! Katie was obviously just as confused and irritated that her manager did this so we called Abby back over to ask why she did that after telling her and showing her what we needed. She then continued with the attitude trying to justify why she rung up 4 boats when we told her no trying to skim us out of money. We told her that we should NOT have to pay for four extra little cups of Alfredo sauce when they were very dry in the first place. She basically said ok not wanting to talk anymore walked away and continued to hide out in the kitchen. It took a little for Katie to come back so that way we could pay and she look a little frustrated so we asked if Abby her manager was back lashing her and she said no it’s all fine but from her demeanor it said something completely different! I don’t know if Abby her manager was on her about what happened but if she was that is completely not ok!! Especially for her to do it the way she did Katie our server was doing fantastic until Abby came in and basically was trying to mess over her service with her customers at her table which are paying the server the tip that is completely not fair to Katie!!!! We ended up calling back and telling Abby directly that there will be reviews as she continues with the attitude we told her the way to fix it was to come out from hiding in the kitchen and apologize and she replied with that she wasn’t even in the kitchen and she was running around which is completely NOT TRUE!! We saw her come out of the kitchen maybe a total of three times but then would go back into the kitchen for long periods of times especially when we were leaving we walked past the kitchen and just saw her in there standing talking to other server’s. The picture below is of the Alfredo AFTER one little cup of Alfredo sauce was put in just to show how completely DRY it was! I don’t know who gave Abby the manager position but she clearly DOES NOT DESERVE IT! For the way she treats customers as well as her servers!!!!!! She needs to be demoted because she obviously doesn’t...
Read moreLove the Olive Garden but our Valentine's day togo dinner was super disappointing. We were first told our order would take over 2 hrs to complete, but upon saying "no thanks" I was told they could instead get it done in 90 minutes. I figured we would be waiting about that long going anywhere else on Valentine's day so we ordered. We were told the food would be ready @ 8:50 so we showed up @ 8:45. At this point there wasn't even a wait to sit down and eat. The Togo employee said our order wasn't ready yet and offered something to drink while we waited.....And waited....And waited. At 9:10 a manager approached us as we had been sitting in the lobby for quite some time. She asked if we were waiting on an order and then asked the Togo crew to check on it. Another 5-10 minutes go by before she came back with one of the entrees in her hand. As she's bagging it up another employee comes up to tell her that he had placed the other entree in the warmer with another of the same entree for an earlier order. I didn't think anything of it at that moment, but once we got home and I looked at my seafood Alfredo it dawned on me that when we first arrived and I was standing in line, that employee had come up and said "here's your seafood Alfredo's" to the gal at the station. It was obvious that mine had been one of those and had sat in the warmer for half an hour at least. There was no longer any Alfredo sauce in my bowl, just clumps of oil and cheese, we had ordered some Alfredo sauce for our breadsticks which I repurposed, which was good because the seafood was so overcooked to start out with, it was hard to eat even with the sauce. My boyfriend said his entree was good, but mine was definitely something that never should have been served and the cook who made it had to know that before it sat in the warmer for 30 minutes. So generally I'm a big fan of the place which is why the 4 stars, but this visit was not good at all, and when it's a holiday and someone has waited 2 hours for their food, it better be at least decent, which this was not. Hopefully next time it will be back to what we've...
Read moreWent to dinner tonight, January 19th, and had the worst experience with one of the managers. Everything else about the visit was great. Food was good, and Katie, our server was terrific. When our entrees came out, we noticed on our pastas that we all didn’t get much Alfredo sauce, so we asked for a little extra to make the noodles a little less dry. Everything was great, up until the manager, Abby, came over. We explained that we just needed a little extra Alfredo to make our noodles less dry, and she proceeded to start showing attitude and rudeness towards us. She asked if we wanted boats, we explained that we didn’t need boats, just a little extra sauce, because the pastas were lacking. She left the table, after rolling her eyes, and immediately walked to a register and started ringing our table up for boats of Alfredo, what we specifically did not ask for. She stood doing that for 2-3 minutes, and a few minutes after that we had four boats of Alfredo brought to our table, which we did not ask for in the slightest. Abby was wrongfully trying to charge us for more Alfredo, and instead of being understanding and nice over the matter, she came back to the table and proceeded to explain we were being charged for more alfredo and was shooting attitude towards the whole table. In the end we were not charged for the alfredo, which was the right thing to do, but as a paying customer, we were treated very poorly by Abby, she was not understanding at all, and wanted to charge us more money just because "she has the power to do so". Very poor customer service on her part. Between her attitude and treatment towards the situation, Abby has no business being a manager. Not once did we get an apology from her. The only apology we received was from Katie, our server, and she truly had no reason to apologize. Her service was spectacular and we tipped accordingly. Something needs to be done with the manager Abby, she was very unprofessional and has zero business being in charge at that...
