Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Greenfield

I do not typically leave a bad review for anyone, but this time was warranted. I even took pictures to leave a good review before the food was "eaten." The employees weren't rude or anything like that. However, the food was less than what I expected. I always get the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. They are most of the time fabulous. The dip was barely warm, and the cheese was gross this time. I tried some of the "crispy cheese bites," but they were not crispy and barely even warm. I also ordered a whole Lotta bacon burger, and I ordered it without the nasty sauce they put on.. but that was on both buns. I did not eat my burger.. as I asked for no sauce.. I was ok with it being plain. Everyones fries were soggy and cold. My dog wouldn't even eat a fry and that made me laugh. I even ordered everything online, so there was no confusion or misunderstanding. The breadsticks tasted old and chewy. The alfedo sauce was really thick and barely warm...so, those didn't get eaten either. Normally, Applebee's is great, but this time, I was so disappointed and felt like I wasted a hundred dollars and even gave someone a tip for CURBSIDE TO GO!! My trip to my destination was a 4 minute car ride. That shouldn't have made my family's food as horrible as it was last night. I know Applebee's is better than that... what happened???

UPDATE: I was refunded for my entire meal. The person I spoke with called me directly, and apologized for the cold food. He was super nice and wasn't upset (to my face) about my poor review. He wanted to strive...

We went on Easter 2023 around 12:30/1p As they were not busy and it took forever 😔 to get appetizers and drinks and silverware we didn't have and food took forever. Steak was dry and overcooked way to well done as the fries they look like they was the fries since they opened, as I say their grease needs changed as the burnt brown cold hard. The mash potatoes was cold my boneless wings appetizerfor my little girl never came out until entree came out as salad came out with entrees as we asked for salads before our meals. The server Alexis (terrible as I would walk out or request new server,she acted like she just hated her job and customers not care on satisfying her customers); as other servers had to get our refills our requests. As we couldn't ever find our server and she never checked on us as two other servers was taking care of us as I did tip all 3 cause I know how life can be and as I don't judge as I hope my tip made her start her afternoon shift better then it was when she came in to start working. Had to wait forever on boxes refills and bill. As the wonton tacos my favorite item as I was very disappointed as the prep cook literally they was not even filled with the coleslaw or chicken as I had to scoop the stuff off the plate and do I'll them as it's like the tacos came out and they just threw the coleslaw chicken it was all over the plate and not in the tacos. I had to stop eating my food to write this review!! After a long trip on the road my spouse and I were searching for a bite to eat at 11:50pm. We attempted to walk into this establishment expected to be turned away due to our late arrival since they do close at midnight (12am). However after asking a waitress "can I place a carryout" she went to go ask and the manager of all people walked right up to us with a wonderful smile on his face. He pulled out a notepad and pen and asked us what we wanted. Honestly we were so shocked that he would even say yes let alone take our order. Most companies would say anything to get rid of late arriver's. But this kind manager was so polite and kind I had to praise God and say a prayer to God for allowing 🙏 us to at receive a meal with such grace (mind you everything around was "closed" ). But after receiving the food we were greeted by another helpful staff member who was a gentleman and JUST WOW! It's hard to find good service now a days, but it didn't stop their. These people were all so pleasant, kind, and willing to help. Kudos to management for finding genuine good employees. But wait it didn't stop there! After taking a bite of all my food! My spouse and I's taste buds were in heaven! The food was cooked so fast (in like 10min) but with so much love as well! EVERYTHING WAS SPECTACULAR! thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
