Will never spend another penny of my hard earned money at Arby's. This is my second bad experience in a row. To be specific, this is the Arby's on Bridford Parkway, off Wendover, near the Hobby Lobby in Greensboro.
My granddaughter received a card from her school offering 10 free kids meals throughout the summer. We redeemed the first one two weeks ago. When we went in, there was a line, and there was an elderly lady who was standing to the side with her daughter. When we finally got to the cashier, he couldn't stop prancing and had to repeatedly ask me what our order was because he was just not paying attention. The order was placed after him asking me 3 times what my order was. As I stood and waited, I couldn't help but notice the elderly lady and her daughter and wondered why she hadn't just sat down. 10 minutes later, the prancer asked them (he actually sang it to them like he was in an episode of Glee) and asked them what they were waiting for. The daughter replied, "Our Food!" The manager then came came over (mind you she was in the middle of a personal conversation right in front of all the patrons with another worker, who was writing something down as she scratched all through her hair, never once washing her hands) and told the prancer to mind his own business because she "got them". The two continued to stand where they were. Finally, when our order was ready, I checked the bag to make sure the order was right and sure enough it was wrong. They ended up giving me free food. And when we left the elderly woman and her daughter were STILL standing there.
Today, we went through the drive through, service just as bad. A girl with a bad attitude, had us in the drive through for 20 minutes, when there was no traffic. We'd place our order and then there was minutes of dead air. My husband would say, "hello", then she'd come back with an attitude. This went on until our order was finally placed, (5-7 minutes). When we finally get to the window, our order is WRONG! We let her know and she corrects it, so we think. When we get home, my granddaughter's chicken tender meal has 2 chicken tenders, instead of 3, she has fruit punch instead of apple juice, and no fries. The service is absolutely ridiculous. Arby's claims to have the meat, but fails to mention the bad customer experience....
Read moreThis place has gone downhill. My son loves their beef and cheddars but only eats the beef when it’s shredded. I asked for it to be shredded when I placed the order and again in the drive thru. Only to get it sliced the normal way. I kindly asked (yes kindly bc I used to work in fast food and I know how rude some customers can be. I actually worked at Arby’s for 6 years) for it to be made again. The manager comes to the window with an attitude saying “it don’t get any thinner and I made this one myself” when I told her I always get it shredded she proceeded to tell a lie about the machine doesn’t cooperate some days and they can’t get it thinner. Little did she know I worked for Arby’s for 6 years and I knew she was lying. After allowing her to speak I nicely asked for a refund and was told to pull up and she would bring it out to me. Would you guys believe she had the nerve to darn near throw me my money, the change went one way and the receipt went another. I still made it a point to say “Have a nice day” and she walked off as if she didn’t hear me. She literally threw me my money and walked off. No apology, nothing!! Never again will this place get another dollar from me. They weren’t even that busy. I went to McDonald’s down the street and got way better service and they had cars wrapped around...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I can remember in a fast food establishment. The counter person was great, but the kitchen was horrible. After we had waited over 5 minutes the person I believe was the manager danced her way to the counter to tell me they were only waiting on my fries. 10 minutes later they put the rest of my order on the counter and tell me they are only waiting on the fries. All this time the manager is still dancing around behind the counter laughing as people are complaining about the delays on their order. The tray they put my food on appeared to have been used and still had about 6 fries left from the previous customer. All this time there appeared to be a staff meeting going on in the dining room with those in attendance oblivious to the disaster their restaurant was. I gave one star because my review would not be...
