Spend your money elsewhere. The comics here are not funny, crack jokes without context, and the space is very cramped.

Terrible experience at the idiot box. Went to the idiot box with high hopes, have been to the comedy zone multiple times and have had a great time. Saw the no nonsense show on Fridays and it was the worst comedy show I have ever been to. The jokes were absolutely terrible, lacked transition, it was just downright sad.

I could understand if the show was 5 bucks but it was $10 per person for my party of five. I wasted $50.

I am sure the comics are funny people and their jokes could have been funny, but they lacked context. I could imagine the jokes being funny in a small group of friends during conversation, but not...

Went to The Idiot Box last Friday night with my dad; it was definitely a good time! This is a small, cozy place with a great atmosphere and some hilarious comics. We stayed for the improv show; very fun, very interactive, and with maybe 20 audience members present, everyone had a great seat, and didn't feel crowded in. They asked at one point for "something you don't see commercials for" and one young lady said "swingers". This prompted lots of laughs, and several times between skits, the announcer gave a brief, funny line advertising swingers. The room and atmosphere before the show starts is awesome. If you plan on buying a drink, expect a weak over priced drink from one bartender tending to every single person in the room... with no intention of getting drinks out in a timely manor. Im not sure if this place does stand up occasionally or not, but I bought a ticket expecting stand up. What I recieved was a skit type show by very loud (yelling in a small room) actors with a type of humor that I didn't relate to. The humor was for the overly witty and dry type humor. To put it shortly, they showed a 1930s black and white movie that they voiced over for OVER 10 MINUTES AND I WANTED TO DIE....
