Came in for dinner about 7:30, was extremely busy for a Tuesday. We got seated about 5 min after arriving. The waitress came and took our drink orderes, there where three adults and three children. The adults ordered alcohol, and she carded us, and called us "babies", which I'm not offered by that, just proceeded to say she has way more under her belt. Which didn't offend me, just offended my husband which is a veteran. The night goes on, 10 minutes pass and she brings the kids drinks,(I wasn't expecting fast service it was busy). My friend asked the waitress to change her drink order, and she gave her a look and started to say something, and we just said never mind. Didn't think it would be that big of a deal. About another 10 min pass and we just get our drinks, no water while we where waiting. And she suggested we order all of our food Which I understand it's busy. So we did. My friend was fed up at this point didn't even order regular food, got up and went and talked to the manager. I'm not putting the blame on the waitress fully(but she needs to have a bit more courtesy). They where so busy, and she had absolutely no help. I've worked in the food industry for many years, and if I'm not mistaking the floor manager or any manner is suppose to be helping. And I saw not a trace of one.(untill she came to our table to bring us water) Just a hand full of stressed out servers. They did compensate us, and thus for the three stars. I will go back. Just not around dinner time. Food was good. Just sloppy service, could have...
Read moreI won't be coming back after this last visit. Ordered curbside pickup and the link expired so I went in to pick-up my order. My orders had 2 times that they would be ready by, 6:04 & 6:19. I placed my order at 5:45 before driving to pick it up, nothing too complex with the exception that one order remove the pico de gallo. I arrived at 6:20. When I was walking in I made eye contact with at least 3 employees who all walked off without even as much as a greeting. One was taking an order so I waited and the others not so much. I counted at least 6 employees walk past me while waiting to pickup my order. Still no greeting at this point. Tried to call the restaurant and nobody picked up, naturally. Finally I stopped a waitress who tried to keep walking after hearing me and asked about my order. She tells me I'm in the right spot. Finally get one order and had pico de gallo on it. After another 10 to 15 minutes I get the whole order and leave at 6:50. Average food would get 3 stars from me, maybe even 4 because I'm generally lax, but this experience was poor. They were not rushed and did nothing to make what should have been a brief experience worthwhile. They were smiling for certain customers and ignoring others, I noticed another gentleman waiting as well. Had I been sitting down I would have walked the second I'm not at least welcomed. The food was average by the way. I really wish I had more hands so I could give them 4...
Read moreFood is consistently good. Service is isnt super friendly but is adequate. Layout of restaurant makes for a noisy environment, so dont expect a quiet atmosphere, it is a restaurant and bar after all with the bar smack dab in the middle of the entire place. Restrooms have always been clean and efficient. Parking can be a bit of an issue as you have 3 or 4 restaurants in a row all using parking but there is parking on the side and back if you dont mind a little walk, besides it might help aid in digestion after a hearty meal there. Speaking of meals. For appetizers, the wonton Tacos are delicious dish with a touch of Korean barbecue!!!!!! And it can even be a great main meal for those wanting a lighter option. And of course you can never go wrong with ordering Riblets! They are the main reason to go to Applebees! Yum! They never fail. They service Pepsi products at this Applebees in Greenville, which I was pleased about, but no worries, Dr.Pepper is still available. Larger Parties might have a harder time finding seating as they dont have many places for large parties. I would suggest calling ahead and letting them know youre coming. It couldnt hurt. But other than that I can say I have never had much of a wait time for a table even during...
