This is the first time I’ve ever had to write a 1-Star review that being honest, I’m disappointed it has to be Jimmy John’s in Greenville, NC. Placed my order on the way home from work  11-11-2020 for pickup at 17:45. Arrived at the store 17:38, parked, and waited for notification of completion. As luck would have it, where I was parked gave me a clear line of site into food preparation side of the restaurant and I noticed an employee wiping his nose with a brown napkin, which wasn’t any cause for alarm…..yet. He finished wiping his nose and then walked right over to the meat slicer and began wiping the machine and the counter next to it with the SAME NAPKIN. At this point I began recording this employee “cleaning” the area and if wiping his nose and using the same napkin wasn’t enough, I couldn’t help but to notice that he either didn’t care or wasn’t trained about cross-contamination due to wiping the inside of one machine and then the counter next  to it then the inside of another machine. All of this and he very obviously wasn’t wearing a mask or gloves, it just blew my mind. When other costumers came in he was able to “see without being seen” and was able walk a short distance and be completely of view from the restaurant. Then he could continue to work and wouldn’t be seen without his mask….he thought. So I continued recording and after another customer came in suddenly his mask re-appeared along with my notification to pick-up. I went in asked a female employee to speak to the manager (important to note she was in food prep area speaking to male employee and neither employee was wearing a mask). To my horror the same person I just seen do all these disgusting things turns (mask magically in place) turns around and says “How can I help you?” I told him I had just watched him cleaning and saw him wipe his nose and then use the same napkin to clean. And he said, “how could I do that with a mask on?” I said, “Because you weren’t wearing it, or gloves, that’s why I’m telling you how completely unsanitary and disgusting it is especially in our new world with COVID”. He denied my allegation again to which I said, “Dude I was recording you, don’t try to lie”. He then said, “then show me the video”. To which I said, “No way, if you’re in charge and are doing all this the video is going to the owner, then you can watch it together”. Suffice to say things were escalating quickly and I apologized to the other two employees for the situation, thanked them and turned to leave the “manager” had become audibly upset because of the tone of his voice saying a variation of  “please leave this establishment and do not return!”  Except it his version was a demand that was shorter, and far less cordial which included several four letter expletives. Hearing the belligerent verbal assault I turned around at the door and said, “Excuse me sir? Where you speaking like that to me?” And the other male employee (still no mask) pointed to the door and tells me to “get out”. I attached pictures of my receipt for my order as well as pictures of the employee without his mask cleaning. I have the video recordings that I will share with the owner and NC Department of Health upon request. The saddest part about this whole situation was getting in my car, looking at the sub I now had to throw away and the stark realization that I would never be able to order or visit this Jimmy Johns again. And not because of this one “bad person/situation” but because with this very public review I’ll have a “kick-me” sign on my back and will never be able to trust them again. Hope this opens people’s eyes to the still very real problems with food prep and COVID, if people are out there that don’t even care about themselves how could they possibly care about you? Thanks

Brittany (at least that's what it says her name is on the receipt) is super great. My son got out of our van and slammed his thumb in the door and was quite loud in his protestations. When he eventually calmed down and entered, he looked very sad. Brittany did her best to cheer him up and he talked about how it made him feel better then entire day. And the subs were good. As a plus, their commode is incredibly powerful. It looks like a household-style commode, but watch out when you flush -- if you put your arm in there (there's some strange folks out there, so I'm just warning them), you might be lost to the sewers.

Service was great and attentive. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect. I asked for no avocado spread and no Jimmy's mustard, and add Dijon mustard. Yet, I get green crapp all over my sandwich. No bueno.

We have had multiple bad experiences at this location. This is why we decided to finally put up a review. Things can happen once or twice BUT EVERY order? This was our last time. We ordered 3 subs, chips etc. $54 order. One of the subs had a long hair in it and of course everyone lost their appetites. We called the store and spoke w a young lady who would refund only one sandwich bc “they don’t have anyone there with long black hair right then” well, neither do we and we didn’t make the sandwiches. We have had multiple issues with wrong orders, and the issues are never resolved satisfactorily. The managers seem young and either lack the authority to provide refunds or just don’t care about customer service in the least! We reached out to corporate and got an automated resolve that they’ve let the franchise owner know and the management team. What a joke. Of course we haven’t heard anything from anyone. We do a lot of catering and have in the past spent 100’s on such catering orders for physician groups around town. We will not be...

I do enjoy the subs from here, they are very good to me. there are however some issues: they dont let me change much of anything. If i want to add something in it, i dont get an option. I can howveer take something out of it, but i want to replace it... and yet i am still given the same price. the price for a sub for me, is alot! seriously, the price of the sub here is 2-2.5X as much as subways, and offers less choices and less options. sometimes when i come inside to order they dont seem like they want to be there, and give the customers the kind of expressions, when ordering- there arent questions, its just waiting for the order to be done and then give the customer a total and back away. Once again, i love the food, its the only reason i come back, but at the cost... I look elsewhere for the amount of food in the sub compared to that price. for a 14 or 16 inch sub, i only had 3 to 4 slices of bacon in the sub.... and thin slices. they were cut small so it wasent much bacon in that sub. what exactly am i...
