Food is fantastic. I had enchiladas with queso and chili sauce on them. Notice in the picture included with this great review how the 3 enchiladas plate with refried beans and Spanish style rice has BIG AND GENEROUS portions. I placed a dollar bill next to the plate to show you the size. Since this is in Greenville, Texas, many restaurants have lower prices on their menu items than restaurants in more expensive cities like Plano, Allen, Rockwall, Rowlett, and Addison. I think that much food is a very good amount for around 11 dollars. Beverage and dessert cost extra, just so you know. The chips and salsa that came before the meal were great; the chips were hot, thin, crispy, and fresh. The salsa dip was mild, and not hot, which many people like, including myself. I have a low tolerance for hot flavor foods because they can upset my stomach, so it worked perfectly for me. Many other Mexican food restaurants salsa that is served with their complimentary (most) tortilla corn chips is TOO HOT FOR ME. This, to me, is being inconsiderate of those who don't like highly hot or extremely spicy foods. Offering MILD salsa by default is a great way to go. For dessert I had a chimichanga with NEW YORK CHEESECAKE filling, on top of a bed of powder sugar glaze that seems to have a light amount of lemon flavor. This is a tortilla having cheesecake filling, rolled up, and deep fried, garnished with whipping cream (see photo). It was delicious!! Check out the dining room photo too. Read moreI was going to give them a 3 but I thought abit it. There is the great service. Everytime I am welcomed back like they remember me. Which they probably do. Our waitress was tremendous. She was on top of everything. They only had margaritas if you are interested in alchohol. I ordered a tamale dinner to go. I just ate it 2 days later. That's what I'm ordering from now on. It was very good. My friend ordered a tremendous salad. Black beans. No meat they grill some of the veggies and used cotillo cheese ( not sure of spelling). I do believe I've seen it on vegan recipes. So. I feel there are vegetarian and vegan options. If not pls forgive me. I liked the cheese enchiladas with queso on top. Although I find their queso bland. It was lumpy this trip. But not always. I like the rice and beans. The salsa was to hot for me. I saw others down it like it was water. There is a spice they use in their hamburger that we both didn't like. It was strong in the chili and enchiladas. Thankful I ordered the chili in the side. I ordered queso on the 2 beef and sour cream on the cheese. Will I go back? Probably. But it is not my favorite place. They do have many great things about them. So I won't disregard them. Oh also other than people throwing their paper towels around the trash can. The...

And then there's the yellow queso – it's not just awesome; it's downright addictive.
