Well, folks, let me tell ya about my trip to Wild Wing CafĂ© on Woodruff Road in Greenville, South Carolina! You know, the kind of place where you walk in, and you can practically smell the fried goodness in the air. I’m talking about wings so tasty that even the chickens are clucking in approval! First off, the atmosphere is as lively as a family reunion—minus that one uncle who always tells the same old joke. The walls are adorned with all sorts of sports memorabilia, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a mini Hall of Fame. And let’s be honest, nothing says “American dining experience” quite like wings and sports on a big screen, right? I half expected to see a giant foam finger waving in the air! Now, let’s get to the main event: the wings! They have a menu that’s more extensive than my dad jokes! I mean, I counted at least 30 different flavors—ranging from mild enough to make a baby yawn to spicy enough to make a grown man cry. I decided to go with the classic Buffalo wings because, hey, I’m a fan of tradition—like wearing socks with sandals! The service? Top-notch! Our server was friendlier than a golden retriever at a barbecue. She helped me navigate the menu like a GPS guiding you home after a long day. When my wings arrived, oh boy! They were saucy, crispy, and just the right amount of messy. I felt like a kid again, diving into a plate of happiness. And let me tell you, the ranch dressing was so good, I thought about asking for a gallon to go! Now, my only complaint is that I didn’t have enough room in my stomach to try everything! I was eyeing the nachos like a kid eyeing the last cookie in the jar. But alas, I had to leave some for next time. So, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy some delicious wings while sharing a few laughs, Wild Wing CafĂ© is your spot. Just remember, folks, don’t wear your Sunday best unless you want to be part of the “sauce splash zone!”

My children and I decided to stop here for lunch and were sat in the large circular booth. After receiving our drinks, my 10 year old dropped her straw in the booth and it went into the crease where the back and seat meet. She reaches to get it and immediately pulls her hand back crying and I notice she’s bleeding. It seemed there was broken glass in the booth which was also EXTREMELY DIRTY. The waitress gets the manager (female, brown hair) who asked sarcastically, “Do you want me to call EMS or what?” Like no, I want you to care about your customers. She did get a bandaid but never once apologized or asked my daughter if she was okay. When I told her that the booth was disgusting, she said “Yeah it’s hard to clean right there.” Well how do all the other restaurants do it then? She then had the waitress move us to another booth and started cleaning it. She discounted our check but never spoke to us beyond her initial sarcastic remarks. It was very clear that she didn’t care that my little girl got hurt and could have been exposed to any number of germs or diseases due to the negligence of her and her staff. Photo of dirty booth, The table pulled out when she started to clean it and my daughter’s finger where it was punctured.

Has a variety of wing sauces to choose from and chicken is antibiotic free but wings were just mediocre. Got Carolina Mustard (Old Yeller)which was best flavor. In addition to Carolina Mustard, got Lemon Pepper, Italian, Flaming Parmesan, and Orange(The General) wings. The Flaming Parmesan were not spicy @ all so disappointing. Just a side note, I ordered everything for takeout and I didn't like how they packed up the wings....just looked like threw them in there any kind of way. Also, tried the spinach mushroom pizza. The pizza was pretty good but nothing to brag about. To be fair, everything did taste better the next day after reheating in oven, especially the pizza but still disappointing and would rather go to other wing spots.

09-16-23: well, it's been four years-surely this place has improved-right? My son ordered the Signature Chkn sand. It tasted "rubbery" (usually a sign of straight from freezer to microwave). He couldn't eat it. I ordered the wings-they seemed fine, but I have spent half a movie and 4 out of 5 hours in the rest room with major stomache issues. On the bright side, service (at bar) was better. Update:June 20, 2019 I get here (Wild Wings, Woodruff Rd. beside Hollywood 20 theatre) around 7:30 p.m. The place is busy. I'm looking forward to having a beer and dinner with my son. I go and sit at the bar. It looks pretty busy too, but there's three bartenders^ waitresses behind the bar, so it shouldn't be a problem. I get a menu pretty quick, but it takes about ten minutes to get my FIRST beer. I'm ready to order my appetizer as soon as I get my beer, but my waitress doesn't even ask if I need anything. She sits my beer down and walks off. With three of them back there, one would think one would at least look my way. The waitress "assigned" to me keeps walking right by to a group of four or five sitting nearby and never even looks at me. Finally, I get a young blondes attention behind the bar and she goes and tells my "assigned" waitress I need something. Finally, I get my appetizer order in. So I've been sitting there close to 25 mins by the time I get one beer and an appetizer order in. My son is on the way. By the time my son arrives, I have had a second beer and am finishing my appetizer. He sits and we wait....and wait....for someone to ask him what he'll have. Again, my "assigned" waitress keeps walking by us to the group of four or five without even looking at us. About ten minutes later, our "assigned" waitress comes over and my son looks at me like he's thinking "about time", and i tell him "They have been ignoring me since I sat down". My "assigned" waitress says "No, I haven't." I respond "yes, you have". And she says something (it was loud and hard to hear to start with, but she turned her back to us too as she said it) to the effect of "You know what. I'm not letting you mess with my vibe. I'm going to let someone else wait on you." So she walked off, and the younger blonde, not older, came to wait on us and my son finally get his beer order in and we order our food. This is where it gets really interesting. Our first waitress is done with us, so o.k., the second one seems fine. I'm telling my son about being ignored and how long it's taken me to get waited on, (keep in mind, this is a loud place so it's hard to hear the person beside you, mich less a conversation 5-6 feet away and I wasn't drunk, nor loud) when the original "assigned" waitress walks by and tells me "If you don't stop causing a disturbance, I'm going to have you escorted out of here". My son looked at me like WTH. And to be honest, I was in shock because my son kept having to lean over so he could hear me as I was sharing my earlier experience with him. After so long of being ignored, now I'm getting attention. In fact, unwanted attention because she had to strain to eavesdrop. But, I told her I was in a private conversation and for her to get the manager. I welcome it. Miraculously, he never appeared. I guess I wasn't causing a disturbance at all. We wait for our food, approx. 30-35 mins. I was starting to think no one put the order in, but it finally arrived. We both had burgers. It was good. The young blonde continued to check on us. As I was giving her my credit card, I asked her who was going to get the tip, because Ms. Personality didn't deserve a nickel from me, maybe from that group she kept pandering to, but not me. I was informed that they had to split the tip. I said too bad and went to the restroom while she ran my card. When I got back, Ms. Personality approached me and said "Dont worry, I'll give her all the tip". I said, "That would be awesome", and walked out. Good luck to anyone sitting at the bar. Better yet, cone over to Yard House or BUFFALO Wild Wings (down the street) and I'll...

Would LOVE to update after having a better experience, but for now
(for context, I come here so often I’m probably one of the tens of people who use their rewards system so much I’m on my way to my second $50 voucher just in the last year) I really do not expect a whole lot from a sports bar atmosphere. I work in the food service industry, specifically as a server at a very fast paced and popular restaurant, so I completely understand how service can vary and am always super understanding and aware of what’s going on in a restaurant around me. Tonight, though, was completely unacceptable. When we were greeted by our server, we were spoken to in a manner I could only describe as it was like we were broke teenagers who she was disappointed to be taken care of (we are 22 and 24). Our server, Zierra, whose name I only knew not because she introduced herself when we were greeted but from our receipt, spent the majority of our night here chatting with her coworkers at the server station while there were drinks from the bar missing from our table after waiting 10-15 minutes for. I would completely understand if the restaurant was full and same with the bar, but at one point a few minutes into waiting, I got up to use the restroom and could physically see our drinks at the bar waiting to be ran to our table. This happened not once, but twice, and it wasn’t until I caught her eye the second time before she remembered the drink(s) I ordered. She refused to write our order down, which wasn’t complicated by any means, but then had me repeat the order one or two times from halfway between our table and the POS system. Again, I’d understand if it were busy, but the place was almost half empty at 11 pm when we were there, and we were not checked on even just ONCE until the very end of our meal. I tried to place a to-go order when she finally did check in on us and ordered another drink as well to kill time while we waited on the take out wings to come and the same process repeated itself to the point that I received my drink 3 minutes before that food came, which took roughly 15 minutes, while she stood maybe 10 feet away, once again just chatting it up with other employees. When the runner brought the to-go, it was not prepared for take out at all. After all of that, I still had to wait while she finished her conversation at the server station to ask for our check. I have never and would like to never again not tip anything at all for service, but tonight was the night I crossed that line and I’m sure she can confirm the fact that she received nothing on our $90.52 check. I would like to emphasize again that I am a server, in fact I had just gotten done with my 12 hour shift and was looking forward to this meal after a long day only to have an utterly piss poor experience. She even said herself during the ordering process, it was not a busy night at that point at all because football games had ended early and there was a concert in the downtown area. Despite all of this, I would like to highlight a server we look forward to asking for next time. Jensen (I hope I’m spelling that right) took care of us for a quick meal a week or two ago and on a busy night that we waited a good 30 minutes for a table for, and he was absolutely awesome. Made sure we had everything we needed, checked in multiple times, drinks were on the table in less than 5 minutes every time they were ordered and I appreciated every aspect of the experience we had with him taking care of us, and we made sure to take care of him when the bill came, same as I like to do when we go out. We saw him serving in a different section tonight so I made sure to ask the host who he was so we could continue to come back and ask for him in the future. I definitely hope something constructive comes from having to provide this unfortunately...

My experiance today was very distasteful. Before arriving I was unable to call in my order due to the phone line being busy (ongoing issue for a few weeks now) or place it through the website due to it not honoring the BOGO special on tuesdays. When i arrived to the bar to place my togo orders the bartender was busy on the cash register so I waited to be assisted. While I waited I observed other employees taking snapchat selfies and socializing instead of assisting or answering the phone. When I was approached by the Bartender she asked me if I needed a menu in which I stated no and that I was ready to order, but instead of taking my order she advised me to wait while she entered in another order that she took before I arrived and walked off. I informed her again that I was ready and that I was on my lunch break with delicate time left due not being able to call my order in ahead of time. But instead of being professional she continued on putting in the order. It was after that I noticed that she was LIVE on facebook and that the camera was facing me.

I find it very unprofessional for a employee to be on Facebook LIVE during a her shift, and to think its okay to put a customer online without their permission, espically not knowing what I could be dealing with in my private life. I even had a chance to speak with the supervisor Allen who attempted to give me the new wild wings number, but the number he gave me was a resturant called Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I feel like my experiance was a joke to him and he took no concern in the matter and acted like he didn't even know what Facebook LIVE was and its 2023! He never told the employee to turn it off or anything, he just said he would talk to her a walked off. As I proceeded to leave the employee (African American young lady with Braids, can't confirm name due to receipt saying Day Bar) asked the manager what I said about phones, he then proceeded to wave her off and walk away. I however did inform her.

Wild Wings has been one of my go to spots for wings for years even catered events, but after this i'm not sure if I will return. I've been an employee for the company and a repeated customer to several locations and I can honestly say the companys reputation is going downhill and i'm starting to understand why alot of the resturants are closing. The employees and management aren't taking pride in their jobs anymore, they're literally there for a check, and not the customer service and excellent food they are suppose to provide.

I also have footage of the phone on Facebook LIVE for corporate and the employees that were participating, along with my conversation I had with the manager since no one...
