I was a bit disappointed. this place elt like a glorified food truck with inflated prices! they charged $3.50 for a tiny bowl (like a small handful) of chips and salsa (tastes like a pasta sauce) and double for a tasteless taco! pleeease! Also, be warned: tacos are about the only thing on the menu, with the exception of a couple of over-priced random things like salads and chicken wings (?) There are no burritos, enchiladas or anything remotely mexican, but, rest assured, chicken wings are on the menu... (what's that about????) I was left unimpressed by the tacos, the margaritas were poor and the service was VERY slow. To make matters worse, there was a barmaid/server who was down right surly and just seemed like she didn't want to be there. She was unpleasant with ALL of the customers AND the staff! It was honestly quite shocking to witness... However, there was a younger guy who did his best and seemed eager to make our dining experience a pleasant one- that's worth 2 points, but I won't be going back and have exchanged with several of my friends who share similar thoughts. To top it off, I awoke in the middle of the night with quite the upset stomach which persisted until late afternoon the following day(????) I don't know if it was a...
Read moreSept 2022, my review will not make or break this establishment, it is only my opinion out of the 5 Star Reviews. We sat outside with family for lunch. The staff were great even though the server never brought the salt and pepper to our table after I asked him to. I ordered the Street Corn that tasted great, however when it arrived at the table it was only a half of a whole corn cob for the price $3.50 I could have purchased two full ears of corn at Whole Foods. Honestly, the menu did not state a half of a portion. Then I ordered one soft Taco with Grilled Hanger Steak. The Taco had plenty of meat on it, however when it got to the table it wasn’t hot, and overcooked in my opinion. Honestly, I am happy I only ordered one Taco. The Signature Guacamole and chips were delicious that we shared between the three of us. I asked for hot coffee and was told they do not have a coffee machine and that they were getting lots of customer requests for coffee. I would think if you have dessert on the menu why wouldn’t you offer hot coffee or tea? My suggestion to the owner, think about getting a...
Read moreA great new place for a quick meal that has all the quality and taste of authentic Mexican food, made fresh. Everything on the menu is made in-house, including the deserts (you must try the flan!). I had dinner one day and came back for lunch the next day, just to try more items from the menu. The reasonable prices let you order several different items at a time and the tasty flavors dance together in your mouth. You can't go wrong with the guacamole, but you should also try the street corn which was tangy, spicy and creamy, all at the same time. I don't drink, but I couldn't help but notice there was stocked bar in addition to the fresh juices and bottled sodas. My only regret is that I didn't get to try the carne asada taco, but it gives me something to look forward to, for next time. The walk-up service makes it easy to get takeout, if you are in a hurry. But, if you decide to sit and relax for a while, you can take a seat at the bar or one...
