1/24 I can't believe I tried this place again !!! 12/22 update I can't believe I let the kids talk me into trying this place one more time. They wanted to go on the playground and of course it was closed. Out of the adult happy meals (we ordered through the automated thing in the lobby) and they came out after we ordered and paid to announce they changed them to kids happy meals and charged the same price. They also handed me a cup of ice cream and announced they were out of Oreos (so I guess it's a plain Mcflurry - for the same price. My life mission is to make a great burger place for people and families. I can't be the only person who does not find this service from McDonald's acceptable. 10/2022 update.I know there are great people here working their tails off but ... THIS PLACE SUCKS !!! I begged with my kids to not come here but they wanted to play on The Play Place. No drinks, no soda,no slushies, not even water. End of update - 5-2022 update- I know these folks work real hard - the problem is with the owner/managment. Count on the frappe and ice cream machine NOT WORKING! Count on a 20 minute wait every time. Every time there will only be one register open. The person taking the order will then work on that order before taking another order. I am going to open a fast food restaurant in the center of Griffin and make millions of dollars off of the revenue this McDonalds loses every year from customers getting tired of waiting in line. Based on my experience here I am guessing ice cream machines are broken 90 percent of the time so I will have 10 machines to catch all of the lost ice cream sales from this McD's as well...... Update Sunday morning April 24th 2022. I knew I should have just driven to the one south of the airport. We are approaching 30 minutes and we see half the order....
   Read moreI am very disappointed. A regional MANAGER should hang out between 515pm and 615pm any weekday. (This is very important if this location wants to stay in business). Yesterday, at 523pm 3-24-22, I asked when ordering, for fresh coffee. They said yes, but it's a 3 to 5 minute wait. So i agreed, pulling forward. When i paid, i repeatedly asked the cashier if she could check to see if they put on fresh coffee yet. She just stared, almost like she was in a daze, or didnt understand what i was saying. (I even asked twice). She gave me my change and still never answered. About 8 to 10 minutes later, as the cars slowly moved forward, I made it to the next window. The gentleman said they never put on the coffee yet and said i should park in the #3 spot to wait, which I did several more minutes. So, at 545pm (22 minutes after placing my order for fresh coffee, my sister-n-law walked inside to check on the coffee. Another employee (long, long braids) said no one ever made the coffee, so she asked someone else where the coffee was at, and then she made the coffee. They gave us the coffee at about 553pm, a half an hour since the order was placed. I was reluctant to give a one star review after monday and tues, and wednesdays disappointing experiences at this same McDonalds, but after yesterday's 30 minute ordeal, I thought it was necessary that a REGIONAL MANAGER examine this location undercover any afternoon, and again, from about 515pm to 615pm, to make necessary improvements with training, staff, etc. This is the closest location to downtown GRIFFIN, GA, and we would rather for this location to IMPROVE instead of us always having to drive to a different location. Imagine going to McDonald's to grab some of their amazing food, and being approached as if you're a nuisance, while you're utilizing the amenities.... Well, that's what happened to me today. I frequent this location, as it's in the neighborhood, close to both home and work. I place my orders using my tablet which contains my app. Since no one saw me use it, they sent a McDonald's bouncer to my table. Imagine minding your business, you look up, and there is a buff dude standing in front of you asking if you're ordering anything. He was cool, I just told him about my tablet. Cool, he let me remain in club McDonald's.
I get to the counter, cool. The manager tells me that I can order on the kiosk, I advise that I already ordered. I forgot where I was for a second, hit the vape. She's like you can't smoke in here, I reply my bad, and put it up. The manager then proceeds to walk to the door, and tells me to wait outside, I tell her that I am waiting on my order, she states she'll bring it out. Why am I being kicked out of McDonald's like I didn't buy anything? I wasn't disrespectful at all. The interaction with the bouncer shows no I'll intent on my part.
