Firehouse Subs Orange Grove — Restaurant in Gulfport

We have been so excited about the opening of Firehouse in Gulfport. We placed an online order and the sandwiches were fixed correctly, but I was unfortunately disappointed in the service of the staff. There were several young staff members behind the counter and they were extremely loud and playing and this is unprofessional. It appeared they lacked supervision and when I informed one of the staff about my drinks I was told “there are the cups, you can get whatever size you want” and then continued to socialize with other coworkers. The place is brand new and it was not kept tidy (spilled drinks, empty tea containers) and it just seems that with all the staff working there at the time the dining area could have been kept clean. I understand that young people need to be able to work but this seems to be a problem and they need supervision and guidance or the business is going to suffer. The Firehouse in Biloxi is so awesome and professional and I would hate to see the Gulfport store...

I have never had a bad experience here until the last 2 times I have went once for a door dash order I was picking up 2 weeks ago the staff was rude and unprofessional and my dash order was late but yesterday which was a Saturday really is why we are here they have a new pork coleslaw sandwich they are promoting which they don’t have the slaw for ? Please tell me how I am supposed to order a sandwich with the other half missing and that clearly was not the first time someone tried to order the sandwich cause the sweet young man tall fella asked the girl beside him if they was still out of slaw and she got aggravated and said yes ! They HAVE to be paying someone for these nice reviews. This is the slowest firehouse I have been to and I’ve been to MANY. Sad. When they can’t get an order right and my sub has everything I asked to not have why even bother saying my order? On top of that, it’s apparent the steamers are cleaned almost never. The taste of meat and cheese being steamed from a steamer should never taste like that…overheard a male crewmember say that he didn’t mess up an order and the lady was wrong after being confronted and she left with her new order.
