I ordered 2 chocolate milkshakes and me and my sister both agreed that they tasted strongly of banana - which is weird because they don’t even have banana milkshakes on their menu. It was unmistakably banana though - both of them smelled and tasted like banana to the point where they were inedible. We called back to see if they had made a mistake and would be willing to give us the right milkshake and they did not even apologize, much less give us a refund and/or new shakes. The guy just explained to me how they make their milkshakes with only milk and chocolate. I understand how a chocolate milkshake is supposed to be made, sir - I’m telling you that these had an overpowering banana taste to them. It was a frustrating experience because these shakes were not cheap - about $17-18 for both - and we had to throw them away after barely even drinking any of them. On a different note, the cheesesteaks were phenomenal and the fries are good too. We will probably order here again in the future but definitely not the milkshakes.
Edit: I added a picture to show that you can see the banana (in the upper layer). Not sure how this happened but we...
Read moreHoly cow, to call this place a "Hidden Gem" would be an understatement. The place is truly hidden down Tanner St., but do not miss out going here. This evening, I was really in the mood for a good steak and they did not disappoint. This was my first visit here. I'm always so hesitant these days spending $15+ on a steak, and being afraid it's going to be some over salted wimpy little sandwich. Corson's is the solution to that issue. The steak was monstrous and overflowing. They use fresh rib-eye and you can taste it. What amazed me even more was how every piece of meat had cheese on it. They don't just slap the cheese down and then cover it with the roll. Not only that, I was so happy to have a choice between a seeded or non-seeded roll, generally that is not an option. It did take a little longer than usual to get our order, but it was well worth it. If you can, Id recommend calling in your order ahead of time. Even Chef Mark came out and talked to us for a bit. He's a really nice and down to earth guy. Corson's is not to be missed. It is now our family's go to place for a high...
Read moreI'm super critical with my cheesesteaks and really don't enjoy close to 90% of the ones I try. I can honestly say I enjoyed my cheesesteak from Corson’s. I like to actually taste the shaved meat and spices, and I am not a fan of places chopping it up to cat food. I got this with provolone and long hots (I thought I got it with onions too, but I may have forgotten to ask 🤷♂️). Overall, just a cheesey, tasty, high-quality cheesesteak on what I believe is a Liscio's roll, could be mistaken on that. I really enjoy the light starchy flavor of long hots on a cheesesteak along with the slight heat. It's definitely worth the price on this one. The 2nd sandwich was an eggplant parm with some spinach for my non meat eating wife. Thank you for accommodating the special in this case! She really loved it and said it was so good. I'd definitely go back as I want to try their roast pork. Oh, they also have a small fridge with delicious pickle chips and...
