Starbucks at target, still NO SEATING. Seriously, why??? We just an along two feet apart and the Baristas are probably maybe two feet two and a half feet on the other side of the counter with plenty of oxygen flow back and forth and everybody's forced to wear masks inside Target so why are we not allowed to sit and have even more space between us and be comfortable? Just ridiculous. Is there a Cove in a seating area but not in the waiting area or when you pick up your drink at the end with no plastic no nothing between us and Them? Whoever is running the Starbucks needs to be a bit less ridiculous and just put the seats back in so we can sit down. Also, I've been going to Starbucks since the first one in Palm Beach County back in 1996. I'm the one that told them they need to get a rewards card just like I had with my lunch cards at the restaurants where I used to work then. I'm most of the one that put in a complaint at that first or telling them about how they were all snotty everybody that works as hostesses and waitresses in front of house supervisors like me between two people if there's a serious like they were the only customers that deserved attention well the rest of us waited around forever to get our coffee Etc. After that they started hiring nice people who treated everybody with respect at least at that one. Now apparently they've changed another rule and it's quite ridiculous also. I spent a fortune on ibuprofen and I buy most of my hot tea bags at Target which they are located inside of. I asked for my usual cup of hot water with some honey& 1/2 & 1/2 milk that I used to be able to add myself. Now apparently no Starbucks allows you to add any sugar creamer yourself, it's all behind the counter. He acted like the small amount of half and half cream I asked for so I could cool it down a little bit and drink without burning myself with a 200 degree water and be able to take my ibuprofen without it melting ... was made of pure gold. His jaw literally dropped as if I was asking you something very unusual but I'm pretty sure he's the same drive as the same thing of up until about a month ago the last time I was there. Then he had to go off and speak to the manager and security apparently this is a very serious issue asked for some hot water and creamer and honey if they no longer have I the way some kind of weird sugar honey mix. I should have met I had my tea bag from Target explain I buy them from there lots of them. They looked over at me like wow how do we tell her we can't do that anymore like was a really big deal. He came back and explain that they no longer do that and you would have to charge me I like the hot water and he said for the creamer I said the cream that was always free and he said yes. He then explained how expensive milk was and it was costing Starbucks a lot of money because people were taking advantage. Are you kidding me? They charge seven bucks for a frappuccino, $4 + for a breakfast sandwhich, $7 or more 4 simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a few small wedges of cheese and crackers and apple slices. Seriously look at their prices now that is taking advantage of customers. I can get the same thing somewhere else for about $4, and I can make it myself for about a dollar. Promise that I will not ask for a cup of hot water and cream and some kind of sugar again there this is the last time. I asked if the regular Starbucks on the same role he did it now. I am also the first and only person that ever according to Starbucks called with a compliment and that was the first Starbucks I called about the complement. The woman that was now managing I'm the one that told them they should make her a manager how ironic is that she was very nice and she just following the rules but the guy I don't understand why he acted that way. My all-time favorite Target person actually one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life was George and he had unfortunately moved to heaven too soon, but I met him there there's a reason I called Starbucks to say how wonderful a...
Read moreWe love Starbucks in general, but in saying that this location is awful. The set up for the drive thru blocks the parking spots to the inside customers. The employees here do not seem to be knowledgeable on the Starbucks quality and the way the drinks should be made. Like handing out mochas full of foam , handing out drinks that people are paying 6 dollars for with a quarter of the drink gone . The food choices are always out. There should be at least at 20 percent markout on all food , otherwise your turning customers away. They never have the bacon and gruyere bites, always out. Youd think the manager would be aware of this when placing orders. The card reader for the drive thru always has issues. They can never finish an order in the drive through without interrupting and multitasking leaving you hanging and repeating the order several times. Locals are aware of these issues. Our family doesn't go here as much anymore because its such a hassle. Definitely not Starbucks quality. These managers need training so that they can train their partners properly. We have called and let the manger know we were given wrong drinks and he acted like he didn't care , giggling, saying that they were busy or down partners or machines down. Very unprofessional. UPDATE ..... now the store manager Ben says that the lobby is closed due to a shortage of workers???? Seriously. So close the inside? This makes zero sense and no other buisness is doing this. People are getting sick of buisnesses using COVID as an excuse for everything. So customers never know what to expect here? Starbucks has plenty of workers . Ben ( the store manager) needs to put garbage cans outside the store so people are not forced to litter as well. Why is there no garbage can outside? Theres several tables outside and no trash cans. This is why the outside has trash everywhere on the grounds. This is starbucks!!!!! This location needs help...
Read moreMy recent visit to the Starbucks at Posner Park in Davenport, FL left much to be desired. Accompanied by my 10 years old daughter, eager for a delicious cake pop after school, we found ourselves waiting patiently as the cashier was attending to other customers. However, what followed was not just a disappointment but a blatant disregard for customer service. Despite my daughterâs presence at the register, the barista, regrettably, chose to overlook her and instead focused on another group entering the store. My attempt to address the situation was met with dismissive and even a touch of rudeness from the barista. This lack of acknowledgment and subsequent attitude left both myself and my daughter feeling humiliated. Even after completing our purchase, the experience did not improve. Not receiving a receipt for our transaction was just the cherry on top of an already disappointing visit. My efforts to address these issues with the manager were further hindered by unavailability, as I was informed Heather Taylor wouldn't be back until Friday.
Feeling unheard and unvalued as a customer, I am left with no choice but to express my dissatisfaction. Itâs disheartening to see such a lack of care and professionalism in what should be a staple of hospitality. Needless to say, I wonât be returning to this Starbucks location anytime soon. I hope that by sharing my experience, changes can be made to ensure all customers can be treated with the respect and attention that...
