We're here for a wedding in the Orlando area and I needed a dress for the rehearsal dinner tonight. I went to Marshalls while the guys picked up lunch to go from the Panera across the way. My strawberry chicken caprese salad was full of black rotten bits of lettuce, lots yellowed, browning and shriveling leaves, and strings of slimy, blackened, shriveled lettuce leaves. This is not unique to bagged mixed salad that's old but not to this extent. It seems to be about 2 weeks past the best buy date. Do locals in Florida not eat salad? If I was local I would have gone back and exchanged it for something without lettuce in it or asked for my money back. However, we are staying at an Airbnb 20 minutes away and they had to go to the rehearsal. I ended up using my fingers to eat the salad leaf by leaf, inspecting each one, sometimes dunking it in the watered down dressing. Since the dressing is on the side, how did the person making the salad not see how bad the condition of the salad mix was? Usually we don't have an issue at the Paneras in our area and have even joined the Sip Club several times which means you just end up eating at Panera more often since you are already getting a drink. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the food this time. Deserved zero stars...
Read moreI stopped by the new Panera near my house yesterday. It was just after 8:20pm and put my order through the drive thru and sat and waited after ordering for over 30 mins. When we finally get to the window the young girl did apologized for the delay and explained they were shorted staffed. I thought that was very respectful of her to do that. Got home to eat the food I ordered, which was the you pick two with the Napa Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Greek Salad. The sandwich, I basically got the “butt” of the bread that was cut in half with barely any chicken. It was the worst sandwich I ever had from a Panera. Then my Greek Salad was more of an onion salad with barely any dressing. They need to do quality control, and hire more people. This is a new location and definitely need to work out the issues. I did not like the drive thru experience. For the amount of money that was spent, I should have gotten the same...
Read moreThis is not the typical Panera experience that I’m used to. I ordered the family pack of bagels For my job. Usually, I order from DoorDash, but I decided to use the drive-through since I was close by. Usually, you are able to pick and choose the flavors you would like to have and have the option of getting them toasted. Apparently, the cashier said that none of those options were available. Yet, when I go on DoorDash, those options are available?! They also do not provide you with a box, they are just thrown in the Panera brown recycle bag with a sticker, that’s not even securing the bag closed. When asking for a box, the cashier said that they only do that for catering services?! Ridiculous… you mean to tell me that I cannot get toasted bagels in presentable packaging, from a restaurant that is known for their bagels?! I was better off Buying a package of bagels from the grocery store and going home to toast...
