Five Guys — Restaurant in Haines City

I've been coming to Five Guys off and on for the last 10 years. They undeniably have a great burger. However, I believe their pricing has gone a little overboard. My husband and I come here, order 2 cheeseburgers, one small fry and one regular fry, and 2 milkshakes, for a grand total of $50! Fifty dollars for 2 adults to grab a fast food meal? That is outrageous. 4 adults or a family of 4 is easily $100 bucks. Unless you're made of money, this is REAL eating out. Spending $50 makes me wish we could have gone to a dine-in serving restaurant instead.

The food is great, though, so it's up to you whether you think $12 for a burger is worth it. Also, don't get a regular or large fry. I ordered a small fry, and they filled the cup and the entire brown bag with plenty of fries. More than I could finish. You'll save a little money that way. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake, and there are real strawberries incorporated. It's not my thing, but it tastes fresh and homemade for a milkshake.

This specific locations atmosphere sucked. Employees yelling and constant beeping machines in the kitchen. It's definitely a McDonald's vibe. Not the place if you're looking for a chill, fast food restaurant to work on your laptop or something. Otherwise, the restaurant aesthetic is very Americana-diner vibes, and everything is pleasant to the eye. This location is overall clean, too.

I am mostly satisfied with my meal and have no complaints about that, really. Just keep in mind that this place definitely breaks your wallet a little. Unfortunately, I come to Five Guys once or twice a year because of this. Hopefully, they can lower pricing...

I ment to post this on the day that it happened, but I was out having a good time with my husband I didnt want to spoil my night more than it did. This happened with the crew that worked on Friday night the 3rd on January. A week ago. Everyone was pleasant and the food was awesome. Except for one worker. And that was what we belived it was management figure. She came in from outside being on the phone demanding to know who closed the umbrellas outside. No one answered as they were all busy with customers, she got louder and asked again who closed the umbrellas. And a quiet voice came from the background and said "it was me." She immediately asked why. And he said "Because its a nice nigth I figure the customers would like to look up" She immediately said "No, I dont care open them back up, we don't closed them until 9pm or when its raining." The whole floor was quiet, we were both in disbelief as to what we witnessed. We where not pleased at all as to how that situation was handled. Both my self and my husband have been in the management role. There is a time and place to discuss or discipline, and doing it on the sales floor in front of everyone was not the place. The poor guy went outside quiet and opened all the umbrellas and stayed outside for a hot minute before walking back in. Then I see my husband staring at the manager again and getting upset once more because she was bothering another employee on their break. Sorry but that was not adequate behavior...

Every five guys ever went to always good food good employees and I've been going to Five Guys since 2012 sometime I go to the same location sometime I don't but I used to go to Five Guys two to three times a week cuz I mean they got good food and good burgers but I have experience just only one time yesterday I've been through five guys here in Davenport and I've been to this location a couple times before I never had no bad experience but the cashier lady was very rude everybody else was working hard getting the orders out and getting the food prepared only had to do was take the orders and she was not very professional with her job One Bad Apple kids falling for everybody is she don't need to be working though if you don't like your job then don't go I do construction and I do a lot of pipes and getting in trench and laying pipe everything and I mean deal with a lot of nasty jobs and I grew up on the farm and I take my job real seriously and I don't take it out on people when I'm having a bad day I've been here yesterday morning at 11 45 but place to go eat at but they need to do something with the young lady that was at the cash register yesterday she's very too rude for her job it only thing you got to do is take orders everybody else in there was working hard and stuff for you the only one was not working hard you ready to...
