Not happy! We go out to dinner, maybe 2 times per year, and thought Chili’s had a diverse selection of menu items. We went on July 19, 2019 and got seated at a tiny table just inside the door, and there was a kiosk thing on the table to play games and stuff on, a menu rack on the other side of the table, so no room to eat basically. It was super hot inside, due to their air conditioner not working right, and when we complained about it, the waitress said it was a new system from 2 years ago, and she doesn’t understand how it could have gone bad so quickly. It was so hot and humid in there, as I walked towards the restroom to wash my hands, my feet were slipping on the damp floor. That’s also when I noticed how unsightly the floors were. Patched up and painted badly in different colors and dirty around the edges and furnishings. The mixed drink the wife had was weak, and was missing a ‘sidecar’ of ‘Grand Mariner’ she wanted with the Margarita. Her baby back ribs were black and crunchy from being over cooked, and had very little meat on them, and the fries were barely warm. My burger was supposed to be served with a side of barbecue sauce and wasn’t, I had to ask for it. When we complained about all this, at several different times, to our server Madison, she apologized profusely about our bad experiences. She Never brought over the Manager, or offered a discount or free dessert...nothing. Not that that’s what we were looking to get, but to have such a horrible restaurant experience, will leave a bad impression in our minds about Chili’s! At this point, we won’t be going back to Chili’s any time soon! And as in most bad experiences, we’ll most likely tell our family and friends about how bad it was, and nothing was done about it. Also, I am leaving a bad review here as well, hopefully something will get done, and other people won’t waste their money here, having an experience...
Read moreThis was probably one of the worst Chili's we've been to in a while (and we've been to a lot). The building was easy to locate, and the space seemed clean. But we were not given menus when we sat down. When the server arrived, she asked if we were ready to order. We said we didn't have menus. She pointed out that they were in a holder by the window (hostess had not told us that, and it had never been that way at other Chili's). She then took a while to take our drinks order. Ditto with our food order. One of us asked for soup for the entree. It arrived with the appetizers (so when we all had entrees, he sat with nothing). When our meals arrived, the others' were fine. Mine was poorly plated (looked like it was slammed on the plate) and was far too hot to consume. By the time I ate it, the cheese on the enchilada tasted off. Ok, we were done and left. This morning my daughter (who had a steak and mashed potatoes) told me she'd been up for four hours overnight with stomach troubles. She'd eaten nothing since we got home. This Chili's is definitely off our list. Won't affect our opinion of other locations, but this one definitely has issues. EDIT: when I did not finish my enchiladas, I took them home. When I warmed them up, I realize that there was very little chicken in them at all, and what there was was really fatty. Definitely not coming back to this...
Read moreMy son and I decided to do Chili's tonight. We hadn't been there in quite some time. Now I know why I haven't been there in a while. We were seated at our table and the first thing I noticed was how run down and worn out the floor was. There were cracks in the floor and there were tortilla chips on it as well, in the walkway. There was also a rip in the bench I was sitting on at our booth. We placed our orders. We ordered honey Chipotle wings for an app. I had the chicken Quesadilla explosion salad for an entree, which was earmarked as a customer favorite. My son had the Brisket burger. My son's meal was good. It was warm and flavorful. As for my meal. The quesadillas were cold. The chicken was cold. The melted cheese on top was cold and hardened. Salad was kinda flavorful, but the lettuce was soggy. Oh the app we ordered, came out after our entrees. We had the server box it up to go. The service was average at best. The server seemed like he was overwhelmed. He was running around pretty frantically. I figured he was new, so I cut him a break. He tried his best. I was more disappointed with the quality of food and the appearance of the restaurant. It gave off the feeling like they would soon be closing down. I'd think long and hard about going back to eat...
